Pleasantly surprised with this product as it comes with tiny bags to hold the balls of repellent. I find it safe to put in my large plant pots as well as they tend to house spiders when outside. I look forward to the effectiveness it provides, though spraying chemical for bugs/insects is not something I would do indoors.

The smell of these things is terrible! Threw them away!

Have used these for only a few days now but they SEEM to work. not seen a single spider or any insect really since putting these throughout the motorhome. Spring is here as are the bugs at the campground. These seem to do just what they advertised, and at a reasonable price.. The DOWN sides are the reason I am giving 4 instead of 5 stars.. These things stink. and not in the good way. They smell ZERO percent like "peppermint" and 100% like MOTH BALLS... once I have effectively made sure the bugs stay out I will decrease the amount of these I have put out as my motorhome smells like the trunk in your grandparents attic. Also, they are a pain to set up with the tiny bags and tiny strings. As someone with arthritis in my hands they were not easy to shove the balls in the tiny bags and try to tie shut as well as tie a loop in the string to hang these up.

I believe they work. I haven't seen any spiders in my shoe area. But you should know the smell is verrrryyyy strong. like it'll be very strong for a few days. but since it works, I'm ignoring the smell lol.

Awful strong smell

Smells more like mothballs than peppermint. Each ball comes individually wrapped and little baggies are provided to put balls in once plastic is opened. Without opening anything the smell is strong for the house.Primary ingredient is Calcium carbonate, 60% and secondary ingredient is sulfur, 32%.

These seem to work but the scent is so strong that we had to put them away in ziplock bags before we were having company. Everyone that came to our house commented on the odor in the home so, we had to put them away and light candles. So, they do work and have a very strong smell.
