This is a very robust tea with a distinct flavor. NOT BITTER. Been drinking Tazo black tea for years…. Lately they changed the formula. Yorkshire Gold is the best cup of tea I have had in several years. It is absolutely delicious!

this is the best black tea I have ever had and my go to whenever I need a cup to start the day. I can usually get a solid liter of tea out of one bag (mind you I don't add milk or sugar to my tea and let it steep for at least 10-15 min) but usually only do around 700ml cause that's the capacity of my favorite teapot. The aroma is strong and pleasant. The flavor is never lacking.

As a dedicated tea drinker in the morning, and throughout the day, I think this is the best of the English tea brands. It has a full taste, without being overpowering, as well as subtle other flavors from being blended with a variety of high end teas. I always travel with a number of these tea bags stashed in my luggage since tea in American hotels is lacking in flavor.

I fell in love with English tea in Yorkshire 50 years ago. PG Tips had been a favorite, but, although an Amazon search shows pyramid tea bags, they are not. The new PG Tips just doesn't make it...but Yorkshire Gold absolutely does! Mind you, I like a strong cup of black tea with milk and sugar in the morning. It is so good, that my husband has switched from coffee to Yorkshire Gold tea, so I've had to reorder. I always pre-heat my cups, and start out with the hottest water. From the first sniff, I was captivated!

I’ve tried a lot of black teas, and this one’s become my favorite. It’s smooth, not bitter, and just right for a quiet afternoon cup. I like it with a little sugar and a splash of milk. It’s part of my routine now—and I always make sure to have it on hand.

Ordered the evening of March 22nd (via third-party Tora Foods). Shipped March 23rd. Received April 3rd. There was some tea dust inside box, but teabags did not burst. (It came a long way so I wasn't too surprised about the dust.) Box looked like it was wrapped in original plastic and unopened. Expiration on box read June 2018. Storing teabags in air-tight container. Teabags are attached (two each), so I just separated them in advance so I don't have to do it later.This tea is so much better than Twinnings English Breakfast Tea. (Twinnings has no flavor.) Recently, a friend of mine who lived in England gave me Yorkshire Red Tea as a gift and it was delicious. I was addicted ever since. I ordered Yorkshire Gold to see if there was a difference. I like them both, but I think I like the red slightly better (maybe because I had the red first). I read some reviews not to steep too long (one minute or less) because of the strength, but I needed to steep teabag for four minutes to get more flavor and it was great and not bitter. I really enjoyed the tea with almond milk and honey. Has a smooth taste.Will definitely order Yorkshire Gold again.

This is beyond a five star tea. This is the best tea I have ever had. I have given up coffee and have started drinking Yorkshire gold instead. It is bold but not better it is smooth and the flavor is the best. I did not know there was such a difference in teas but I am a believer and sold on this brand. It's a little expensive but well worth the price.
