I was disappointed with this blue light blocking the screen. I use my desktop PC a significant amount, especially in the hours before I go to sleep. This therefore seemed like a excellent way to improve my sleep quality, which I monitor via my smartwatch.There are two methods of installation. One where you can fix the filter to your monitor, with the included adhesive pads, the other where you construct a system via the plastic pads included, where you can drop the privacy the filter into those holders, so it can be removed if not needed. This method was my preference, however, originally i thought there was the a fraction of gap between the filter and the screen, which was enough to render my glasses ineffective. I tried pushing the filter against the monitor screen to see whether I could remove this gap however that wasn't the problem. The filter itself must refract light or is opaque, because it takes the edge of clarity away that is provided by my glasses and the only way to see text sharply again was to remove the filter. So this didn't work for me.
