The bowls are also easy to store since they can be squished down without losing shape, which is super convenient in a small kitchen.The only minor issue I’ve run into is that getting the cover on can be a bit tricky the fit is snug, and the bowl flexes a little when you're trying to stretch the cover over. These are great for sourdough bread. As you know there are different hydrations for sourdough. What is nice about these proofing baskets they can absorb some of the extra moister. I flour them with rice flour and stick in my sourdough bread. Each time my bread has come out easily and didn’t stick. I like these because you can hand wash them. I will not be using silicone proofing baskets since using these. They are so much easier to get the bread out of. Because of their durability it is a great value for your money.

These work as advertised. They hold their shape and do not stick to the dough when properly floured. I feel like wood pulp bannetons are a little better, but they are much more expensive, so these are a good value.

Even when you coat the liner with just a whisper of flour, the dough barely won't stick.The cover might feel a little snug at first and you may struggle to get it on after a run through the washing machine. Try pinning the cover to one side with your fingers and the provided loop and using the other hand to work the cover around the edges. Sure, a touch more slack would make it easier, but that snug fit probably helps the dough maintain moisture.The overall design feels both practical and a little stylish. I wouldn’t mind leaving these baskets on the counter, especially if I’m showing off my sourdough process to a friend.

Received my baskets and covers from Amazon only to find out that one of the covers didn’t properly fit the baskets. I struggled and squeezed the baskets to get the cover to fit but never did. I emailed KneadAce directly and heard back the next day and was sent replacements that fit beautifully! Great customer service and the baskets and covers do seem of great quality. Excited to actually try them out this week for a loaf of sourdough bread and see the difference with making them with these opposed to just a regular bowl.
