Excellent bit of kit, especially for someone with an older car or a small in-car screen. Set up was really easy with everything you need supplied in the box. Straight out of the box and into my car, didn't take long. There are two mounting options, the magnetic option that I chose provided a really strong hold. Set up with my phone's Bluetooth and phone mirroring was really easy. I had this set up within a couple of minutes, playing music and being able to view maps on the screen. The Android Auto option is another great feature, working well. I'd highly recommend this, and it's portable too to allow switching between vehicles if needed.

Le CarPlay arrive très bien protégé dans son emballage. L’appareil est de bonne facture, on voit qu’il est de bonne qualité. L’écran tactile de 8 pouces fait 17 cm x 10,5 cm (taille du CarPlay : 19,5 x 12 cm x 2 cm d’épaisseur). Il y a de multiples accessoires fournis avec : - Manuel d’utilisation - Chargeur de voiture à brancher sur l’allume cigare - Support à ventouse + joint adhésif - Support magnétique + joint magnétique - Câble audio AUX de 1,5 m - Caméra arrière avec son câble de 7,5 m + adhésifs de caméra + vis - Clips de fil - 1 mini tournevis cruciforme - 1 écarteur de joints (pour cacher les fils derrière les joints) On peut s’en servir avec un téléphone Apple ou Androïd. On peut choisir de le mettre en mode portrait ou en mode paysage (à définir dans les paramètres). Lors de la première utilisation il faut appairer l’appareil à son téléphone portable via le bluetooth. C’est très facile et rapide, ça se fait en quelques secondes. Le CarPlay se synchronise sur Google Maps, on y retrouve donc toutes les précédentes destinations qui sont sur notre téléphone portable, pas besoin de tout reprogrammer. On peut écouter sa propre musique, qui est donc sur le téléphone portable, via le CarPlay. On peut effectuer une action vocale (en appuyant sur l’icône « micro ») par exemple « envoie un message (SMS) à Papa et dictez votre message. A la fin du message il faudra appuyer sur l’icône « envoyer ». On peut faire pareil mais en demandant « je souhaite aller à Paris à la Tour Eiffel », Google Maps indiquera alors le chemin pour s’y rendre. On peut répondre et passer des appels téléphoniques. On peut lire ses SMS (lecture à voix haute par l’appareil) et en envoyer. Quand on est sur Google Maps et que l’on écoute de la musique en même temps, on peut partager l’écran (2 tiers / 1 tiers) afin de voir les 2. La caméra de recul est top avec l’aide au stationnement. Mon fils est très satisfait de ce CarPlay. C’est un de ses amis qui lui a recommandé vu qu’il en était très content.

I tried a different CarPlay tablet about a month ago, but when wearing polarized sunglasses the screen was too dim to read. I happen to noticed when i put it on its side I could see it perfectly even with polarized sunglasses. Apparently most of these devices have IPS screens, which look good but their light is blocked by polarized lenses when viewed in landscape mode. I got this specifically because it supports portrait mode. In portrait mode there is no issue with visibility with polarized sunglasses. This device also has a very clear backup camera with a wire you can splice into your reverse lights to make it automatically come on the screen when reversing, it works great. The CarPlay connects easy and is stable. The fm transmitter is strong and sounds good. The support team has been great in helping me update the boot logo. At this price point, this is a good value!

A very good product quality. Connectivity is fast with phone. Display quality also very good. Recommended!
