I have an older Ridgid 16 gallon wet/dry vac. The label says to use VF4000-VF6000. Despite the description indicating that it may not fit my model, I ordered anyway since I have previously used other VF7000 filters. The filter fit snugly, butted up properly to almost the top of the housing. I was able to secure the plastic nut without issue and have use it once so far for a wet-vacuum situation. There were no issues with suction and performed as expected.

I ordered these filters for my WD 1600 16-gallon, 6.5 HP shop vac. I installed one and used my vac to clean up the water in my basement after heavy rain, and it worked perfectly. They provide good airflow and may be used for wet and dry cleanup. Their performance is indistinguishable from the OEM filters.At $29.99, they are a far better value than similar Home Depot RIGID filters, which sell for $47.95 a pair online, and I highly recommend them.

I like these filters for wet vacuuming. They help to protect your motor. They fit my Ridgid wet/dry vacuum cleaner. The price is so much better than the big lot stores.

These filters are a tad short, and you have to push hard to get them in place. That said, they di fit and are fully functional.I used them on my 5 gallon Ridgid vacuum. Good for either wet or dry filtering. (for dry mode you still need to use the fabric bag.Recommended.

I've never used these "wet" filters in my shop vac before for water cleanup jobs so when I saw these were available I picked them up. These are very well made, good fitting filters. I don't have any Ridgid brand filters to compare them to but I can't see how they'd be any better than these. You get two filters here for almost the same price of one of the OEM filters so these are a better value. I'll buy these in the future when I need replacements.

In this picture I show the Ridgid filter on the Left and this replacement on the right. They are identical in size and will fit in my vacuum perfectly. This gives you two filters for the same price as one from Ridgid. Even though you can use the ShopVac without a filter when vacuuming up fluids, these filters will protect your motor. With this value why would you not protect your motor. A great find on Amazon.

These fit perfectly in my older Ridgid 16 gallon wet/dry ShopVac model WD16700. It's not one of the models listed, probably because it's older, but it's functionally identical to the newer models and takes the same filters, VF4000, VF5000, etc. so there was no reason these should work. The filters seal tightly and you get two for about the price of one OEM filter. Great deal and handy for wet clean up.
