RYR 2.4GHz Wireless Gaming Earbuds

Got this new earbud as I lost one of the ear of my old earbud. This one is a lot better in terms of the design, the look and feel as well as the battery. This earbud has better sound quality compare to the older generation, it last longer to play music, I used it from 9-5 at work and still don’t have to charge it. Music quality is great and barely hear anyone talking besides me. It also comes with a usb-c transmitter that can connect to my switch through 2.4Ghz frequency. I couldn’t figure it out previously but found out that I have to triple click on the device to switch it away from Bluetooth, so it can connect to more different device and it can increase the distance from the earbuds to the device. Sound quality is great and I will test this next time when I fly and try to connect with the inflight entertainment system using the usb-c plug.

This review is for the RYR 2.4GHz Wireless Gaming Earbuds. I had never heard of this brand before buying them. I was looking for some earbuds with a 2.4 GHz dongle and stumbled across these. I've purchased other gaming buds before and ended up disappointed and/or returned them. These are actually pretty amazing. They have a very full sound with good bass and clean mids/highs. I totally didn't expect them to sound as good as they do. I do all of my gaming, YT watching and streaming using these buds. They are just so good in my opinion when considering the price. I've had these earbuds for several months now and I'm completely happy with them. The earbuds come with extra ear tips, a charging cable and a nice case that shows the level of battery life while the earbuds are in the case. They charge very quickly and are easy to pair. The earbuds can be used one at a time, which is what I do often when watching YT. I primarily use these in 2.4 GHz mode but the BT works well with very minimal latency in my testing. The mic is probably the only underperforming feature of these buds. I've used them a few times during gaming sessions and my playing partners commented that the quality wasn't great. I don't mic often during gaming so that's not a huge concern for me. I use these mainly for listening and the sound is just fantastic. I feel like you're getting a premium brand sound with these at a much lower price. All of the built in tap features like play, pause, skip, switch from 2.4 GHz tg BT all work well and are detailed in the instructions. * I just bought a second pair of these today for my daughter and it reminded me to leave a review. Overall, I'm very satisfied. Will they hold up for years to come? We'll see. But for now I'm just enjoying them day to day. They are literally in my ears 6-7+ every day. I absolutely recommend them. 5/5 stars.

One Piece of advice is to make sure that when you first get them take the small clear plastic tape off of the contacts, otherwise they will not work The LED display for the battery is convenient, and the 36-hour playtime means I don’t have to charge them too often. They’re lightweight and comfortable for long sessions, though the build quality feels average—nothing fancy, but it holds up. Overall, these are a decent pair of earbuds for someone looking for solid performance without breaking the bank.

I recently bought the earbuds and I am happy with the purchase. The auto-connect is quick and easy to switch between Bluetooth with cellphone and USB with PC or PS5, no noticeable lag. The sound quality is amazing with noise cancellation, a big surprise at the mid range price. It is light to wear comfortably for long hours. The battery life is good and the LED display is very convenient. Absolutely a good buy for anyone who does not have a big budget.
