Handy second screen for you mobile phone.
This clever little gadget is basically a tiny touchscreen rechargeable wi-fi monitor, yeah, I didn't know that was even a thing! The initial setup has various steps, but the guidance is fairly easy to follow, the only thing that wasn't mentioned for me was that I had to add the button for screen mirroring to my iPhone Control Centre as it wasn't on there initially. Once fully configured and screen mirroring is turned on on your phone, as you would expect you can see a smaller version of your phone screen on this device, you can then use the magnetic ring on the back to attach the Newmowa screen to the back of your phone, essentially giving your phone two screens. This makes it easy to frame selfies etc using the rear, higher quality, cameras on your phone. You actually don't need to attach the Newmowa screen to the back of your phone and it will do the same job wherever it is. Due to the mostly plastic construction, the Newmowa screen doesn't feel very robust, but the bonus is it doesn't weigh much either and you do get a storage bag to protect it when not in use. In use I find the touch screen controls to be a bit hit and miss, this is partly due to the small screen and your fingertips covering a much larger area than on your actual phone screen. Once fully charged the Newmowa screen has a very good battery life lasting for ages in normal use. Overall, a clever device which I didn't even realise existed, now I don't need to try and use my Apple Watch to frame and take photos.

Revitalized My D200
Some years ago I had purchased a battery grip for my Nikon D200. This came with a spare battery. All was well for a while but after a few months the camera began malfunctioning. Pressing the shutter button to take a picture would raise the mirror, the first curtain would fire and the camera would lock up completely with the shutter open and mirror raised. Turning the camera off would have no effect and the LCD display would remain on. Removing the battery would reset everything but the same thing would happen again after re-inserting the battery. The battery would also show as empty even if it had been fully charged. This happened even with the standard Nikon Battery and for a while I thought it was a camera failure. Then some time later, after trying the camera again it was fine. I put it down to a faulty third party battery tjat came with the grip. It must have caused a few issues with the electronics in the camera and some time with no battery inserted probably allowed it to clear. The camera worked faultlessly the next time I inserted the Nikon battery. To this day the third party battery ahas never been used again. This made me reluctant to purchase any more third party batteries bit the Nikon branded ones are quite expensive. The D200 is also quite a power drained as well and I found myself using one of my other cameras more often than not. Then a while ago after reading reviews I decided to try these Newmowa batteries and USB charger. I found that they work perfectly with the D200 and I have started getting more use from the camera recently. They have in fact given the camera a new lease of life and all in all a very worthy purçhase.

Handy bit of kit, but expensive.
This is a clever little accessory that magnetically attaches to the back of an iPhone to help with vlogging and selfies. Its main purpose is to let you use the phone's higher-quality rear camera while still being able to see yourself on a screen. The unit is very slim and light, and the screen quality is really good, making it easy to see what you're recording. Setup can be a bit of a hassle, as you need to connect both via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and there are some settings to enable in your phone's accessibility menu. While it's marketed as a touchscreen, I found that functionality to be hit-or-miss, so it's best to think of it primarily as a screen mirror with a Bluetooth shutter button. While it's a great concept, it may be a bit overpriced - at the time of writing, with a £14 off voucher, it is still £56, which I think is quite expensive.

Limited Functionality On Android But Does Work
Despite indicating that this does not work with Android devices it does actually work for screen casting and photo or video control. This is a neat little device and has a clear small screen. In terms of Android use it needs to be connected to both Bluetooth and WIFI on your device. Bluetooth pair easily but WIFI needs the QR code scanning by Goole Lens which then connects straight away. In the screen cast setting of the device enable wireless display and it then appears as an available device and casts to it nicely. In terms of controls the top white button with then start and stop video or take a photo as long as you have already put the device on the camera section. The other two buttons do not function and the final button just adjust the screen brightness. So, it has limited functionality on Android but does work and looks good. Handy little unit.

Brilliant
My D300 camera is getting old now (a bit like me) and as such, the associated costs are diminishing. There was a time when I'd have been paying £50/60 for a single battery alone. I've had several 3rd party chargers over the years, some better than others. Now along comes this little package selling for a song, complete with two batteries. It is small and lightweight taking up almost no room inside my camera bag. The icing on the cake is the charging time - two batteries charged within 90 minutes! Only used them for one holiday so far but they performed immaculately.

Also fits Triopo AD-10 Automatic tripod head
This is an excellent addition to extend the usage of the Triopo Ad-10 automatic tripod head that allows photographers to take 360 degree panoramic images. It allows you to carry that spare one or two batteries with you to extend the time you can use the automatic tripod head.
