I’ve been knitting for most of my life but couldn’t read a pattern to save it. This book is easy to understand and makes so much sense as I knit through it. Perfect purchase!

Was able to knit my first grandbaby a blanket after not knitting for several years using a pattern from this book.

Lots of basic info to help new knitters get started. Basic patterns included for newbies and more experienced knitters.

I've tried repeatedly to learn how to knit - friends have tried to teach me, I've watched tutorials, and I've read a number of books that promised to break it down to beginner skills. This may be the first book I've read that actually does break things down to beginner level as promised. The instructions are clear and the illustrations have arrows to really emphasize the concepts. While I'm still not rocking any kind of mastery, I feel ok about embarking on a project with the instructions in the book- and if starter projects go well, I'm excited to try working my way through the projects included here.

After putting down knitting for years, it feels very foreign and this feels like the right book for starting again. I like how detailed the instructions are, and having lots of photos really guides you through all the patterns. I've learned a lot.
