I bought this for personal health reasons. I need more copper in my diet due to a rare condition. In addition, due to my joint pain I find double walked massive bottles way too heavy to carry. This bottle meets both of those needs for me! It is incredibly lightweight and I can see the bottle reacting to the water after a few days of use - so I know it is pure copper and I know it is going to be great for my health needs! I'm very happy. The size is perfect to fit in my hand without causing pain and it's narrow enough to fit in my purse or car cup holder with ease. I love the taste of the water, it reminds me of old camping canteens we used to have.The reason for deducting one star: Upon opening, I noticed a strong smell coming from inside the bottle. I followed the initial washing instructions and it completely went away. I filled it with water, and an hour later I came back to drink from the bottle and the smell was already back. It seems more like chemical than metal, and I'm thinking it might have something to do with the glue used to attach the rubber gasket and the plastic screw top to the metal on the lid. I truly believe it will go away with a little time. I might try leaving it to air out for a while or soaking it in vinegar for a few hours to help. If it persists, I will update this review. But so far I am not overly concerned.

I was shocked at how beautiful this copper water bottle was when I got it from the mailbox! It is really beautiful! This is the first copper vessel that we’ve ever had so we were intrigued. After just an hour of filling it the water felt SILKY when drinking it. For some reason this water is so easy to drink, if you hate drinking water and have to force yourself like I do then you may want to give this a try. I’ve been easily drinking 2 of these per day and sometimes even more. The O ring works well to keep the bottle from leaking which is always a win for water bottles, it’s super easy to clean. I really think that anyone who decides to purchase one of these will really love it just as much and normally I would never say that a water bottle would make a great gift but this one certainly would.

I like that this bottle is all copper inside and outside. The screw on lid is really easy to take off and put on. Sometimes some bottles are difficult to remove the top...the threads are not just right. This one is perfect. There is a card that comes with this bottle that says do not use hot liquids or carbonated liquids. THe water bottle is not insulated so it would be too hot to handle if you used hot liquids in it. The copper bottle is thin so it is very lightweight. Just be cautioned that because it is thin copper it can sustain dents quite easily. This is true for different metal water bottles. Overall this is a nice but but the price is a little steep mostly in my opinion due to it is not insulated. I guess you are paying for the copper...which is quite attractive. This one is smooth finish and I think I would prefer a hammered copper look.

I love everything about this copper water bottle—the color, texture, and feel are top-notch. It keeps my water super cold, and the taste is so refreshing. Plus, it provides essential minerals. It's quickly become my favorite.

I’ve always wanted to try a copper tumbler, I’ve heard really great things of the benefits so I was super excited to get this one. Mine was the “hammered” look but when I opened it the top on the inside was scratched a good deal, there was also some weird black fuzzy stuff almost like lint inside the mug I had to clean really well to get out. The bottom has a foam glued to it which I’m not a fan of but I’m assuming that’s so it doesn’t scratch tables? I would have done without that and will probably try to get it off, assuming it won’t hold up after washing multiple times. The overall performance of the tumbler I’m happy with. After sitting for a bit the water tastes a little better. Since it’s metal it stays cold a long time. The look is very aesthetically pleasing as well. I have used this everyday for a week and I really enjoy it. The price seems fair for the quality too.
