This microwave splatter cover has several advantages. The lid can be adjusted for height and will completely collapse. This is large enough to cover any microwave dish and is made of easy to clean silicone. I have used it several times and it works as expected.

I really like it! I have several dishes that get very hot, and it’s a juggling act getting them out of the microwave. The tray solves that problem.The tray also is very beneficial if you have a boil over. It makes cleaning up so much easier. I always get the collapsable microwave covers now, as I keep more than one. It does make a big difference in storage space. It also cleans easily.There were a couple of minor things with this set that I feel should be mentioned. This cover seems to cause more condensation under the cover than other covers I’ve used. I’m not sure why. Maybe it has to do with the venting. Anyway, there is more water on the inside of the cover when I lift if off what I’m microwaving, so water tends to drip, which needs cleaning up. I’d rather wipe up water than clean up splattered food in the microwave. The tray also isn’t large enough for my largest dinner plates. I can make it work, but it doesn’t sit flush into the tray.For around $10, this is a nice set.
