Still the best.
I have been a user of the original AAWireless adapter alongside my Android phone since it was introduced in 2022. It sits in my Range Rover Sport and apart from a sporadic connectivity glitch has worked faultlessly ever since. When it throws a wobbler, which hasn’t happened that often, for the most part it has quickly righted itself without need for intervention on my part. On the occasion when I needed help, the AAWireless customer support was first class.I have experimented with other manufacturers Android Auto wireless adapters but none of them compares to the AAWireless device in terms of functionality, performance and reliability. My adapter is still working perfectly today but I decided to upgrade to version TWO to take advantage of the improved design, functionality and Amazon special price (£43.19).Out of the box, its noticeably slimmer and more rounded than its predecessor, which doesn’t benefit me much as mine is tucked away in the centre armrest console, but its more pleasing design is definitely an improvement, especially if there is nowhere to hide it. The other obvious difference is the inclusion of an LED illuminated multi-function button which is used for pairing and switching between phones if you share the car with someone else. The colour of the LED changes according to the pairing status culminating in a solid blue when everything has connected successfully. (All of which is explained in the accompanying Installation Guide). The ability to be able to switch phones in my dual user car being a significant advantage over its predecessor.Setup in my vehicle was fairly straightforward but not as simple as the included Easy Setup Guide suggested, (Plug into your car – Connect your phone to the AAWireless – Enjoy Android Auto). I had to jump through a few more hoops, which was a bit more time consuming but not difficult.Operationally, it is identical to my previous adapter. Connection times for the phone to automatically pair with the car, at circa 20 seconds are identical to its predecessor. The AAWireless App and features are the same and like its predecessor it allows you to tweak various settings, troubleshoot the device and wirelessly update the software. It’s early days but pairing and connectivity have remained steadfast throughout. My main use of the adapter is being able to access Google Maps and Waze, instead of the built in Range Rover mapping and navigation, which it does faultlessly. The advantage being that the mapping features are far superior to the built-in vehicle mapping and I always have access to the latest maps and traffic information. At no cost unlike the crazy price that Land Rover charges to update the maps.In summary, this is more of an evolution if you are upgrading from the original AAWireless adapter but if you are purchasing for the first time, I can personally vouch for the fact that this and its predecessor are a must have if you have a vehicle that doesn’t have wireless Android Auto as standard and want to avoid messy cables trailing everywhere.

Awesome, just Awesome.
This is awesome. If you have an android phone and it disconnects multiple times from your android auto car screen on every journey, this product is for you. It's been 3 weeks since I bought this and my phone hasn't disconnected at all. So pleased I decided to buy it. The only downside is , it does drain my phone battery,or maybe I notice it more because as it's not connected by wire anymore it doesn't get that extra charge on my journeys, but hey, no cutting out is way worth it and my phone connects really quick. Also pairing it to my phone was weird, it wouldn't do it in the car, so I plugged the AA wireless unit to a plug in my house and it connected. Oh and it's small ,so doesn't take up much room when plugged in.

Amazing little gadget for your car
I’d been hearing about Bluetooth Android Auto connectors for a while but held off on buying one. I wanted something that was easy to set up, worked reliably, and didn’t clutter the limited space in the dashport under my radio. After some research, I came across what I believe is the second version of AA Wireless. I watched a few videos online, decided to give it a shot, and tested it thoroughly on a 4 hour round trip there and back.It performed flawlessly, sound quality stayed the same with no crashes or dropouts. Just be sure to have Bluetooth enabled so it can recognize your phone. The companion app also seems useful for firmware updates and extra settings.Overall, it’s absolutely worth the investment. I can now use Google Maps and other Android Auto features without worrying about cables or losing connection mid-drive.

When it works it great. But....
Got this for Christmas and when it works it is awesome.Update: I've downloaded the AAwireless app, updated the software and turned android auto battery optimization to unrestricted. So far so good. Got both my wife and my phone working without a hitch. Added another star to be fair as I'll say it's a user error. If it continues to run smoothly I'll add a 5th star.

Works with Skoda Fabia 2020
Arrived promptly, easy to set-up and worked like a charm. This was the 2nd device I have bought, as another brand which was a top selling product failed to work and was just perpetually stuck in a boot/start up cycle.. not sure if that device was just faulty or not compatible..Finally can use sat nav/music service without having to plug in phone and selecting a bunch of options every time I enter the car.Nice to be able to just turn on car engine and it's ready to go.Car make/model: Skoda Fabia mk2 early 2020 model.Phone: Samsung Galaxy S22+Will update further if necessary after more daily usage and a few months down the line if any problems arise. As so far only tested on driveway when purchased and installed so far.

Works for some (or many), but unfortunatly not for me
I have spent nearly a day now to get this to work but to no avail. I have been following the manual to the letter and also read up on online advice but it still will not establish a stable connection between my phone and the device. My phone connects very well, stable and quickly via bluetooth to my car for phone calls and when plugged in to the car, Android Auto starts immediately and works without a hitch. But when connecting the adapter to the car, it starts blinking green for ever, the phone shows briefly "connected for calls" to AAWireless TWO adapter but never stops blinking green. After endless trials I have given up and will return. Pity, since it seems to be a good device which works well for some (or many) but not for me. FYI: My phone is a Huawai Mate 30 Pro and the car is Skoda Scala with a Bolero MIB3 Infotainent system.
