MAYVILLE ENGINEERING 0820273 CO 8994 MEC EZ Fill Funnel

This funel is NOT intended to work with your bottle that holds powder. If you have the bottle support, it won't fit the powder bottle. But you don't NEED this special funnel for your powder bottle. Any old regular funnel will do for powder. Even with an 8 lb powder container, it isn't heavy.You need this funnel for your shot, because shot is HEAVY. Unless you are quite strong, hefting 20+ lbs of shot up to the top of your shot bottle takes both hands, so you don't have a third hand to steady your shot funnel.Until I got this, I was splitting up my 25 lb shot bags into smaller containers, so I could fill the shot bottle with one hand and hold my funnel with the other hand. This solves that problem. The funnel fits the shot bottle perfectly.

This is a great addition to the reloading bench. Works perfect on the MEC bottles which I bought it for, but the bonus is it also works great on the Dillon, Lyman and similar size rifle/pistol case powder measures. Those powder measures are big enough I never thought to buy a funnel for them but now that I have this on the bench its easy to just use it to fill everything and not spill a single grain.The folks at MEC thought it out well and gave it a large loop on one side to make it easy to hang up and a flat side on the other to clear a large shot bottle or other stuff sticking up out of a press (case/bullet/primer/ feeders on metallic press use).Not a must have, but it sure makes everything easier. Couldn't see loading without one now.

Perfect fit for the MEC powder and shot bottles. It just makes life great.

Works as advertised

This thing doesn’t fit well. I wound up using a soda bottle I cut the top off & screwing it into the shot & powder bottle. It works very good.

Great concept for basic reloader, doesn’t quite work with smaller powder bottles with the bottle support being used. The funnel doesn’t sit low enough and leaves a gap between the bottom of the funnel and top of the bottle. It would be fine without the bottle support or by using a larger bottle for powder.

This makes filling the bottles much easier and prevents overflows and spillage.

Worked so well, I bought a second one.
