The media could not be loaded. The Flying Orb Ball is very interesting. It charges with a Micro USB cable that is provided along with instructions. It takes about 25 minutes to charge, the light turns off when it is fully charged. It seems to last a little less than 10 minutes. The Orb Ball is lightweight so you can use it indoors (or outside). It has a motor and fan blades inside. When the motor is running it makes a soft fan noise. The top of the Orb Ball is marked, pay attention to that when you release it. The power button is recessed on the bottom of the Orb Ball, once pressed the LED's turn on. To start and stop the motor briskly move it up and down.Once the motor is on, the LED lights look really cool. It's takes some practice to master this thing, I'm not there yet. With the 'UP' facing up it will hover over your hand. Toss it straight up and it goes up and slowly comes down. Tilt the 'UP' slightly toward yourself and toss it away from you, it will fly away and back. If you miss the catch watch out, it flies in random directions and when it crash lands it turns itself off. Can't wait to play with this in the dark!

This is a cool flying orb. It holds a charge for a while and it’s easy to charge. It works well. I am easily able to fly it and steer it. It provides hours of fun. My 8 year old loves using it too vtjqtd how easy it is to use.

So I got this ball thinking it would be something fun to play with my son with, but it really has just kind of lead to some frustrations.First of all this is not an indoor toy. I saw in the instructions that you could toss it to the floor and have it float back up, or float the ball in your hand. While you theoretically might be able to, in practice not so much. After one toss to my wife, the ball flew around our living room bouncing off the walls before stopping and turning off (which I can say at least that works really well).The ball has a power button and a power port on the top, which makes it hard to charge at times, or hard to turn on and of (Shaking the ball activates it when turned on, so trying to move the switch with a shaking motion just turns it back on). I spent the last few days just playing with this ball, trying to figure out how to make it work, and I figured out very quickly I just do not have enough space in my backyard to play with it. I have a 50 Ft long back yard, 30 ft wide and I tossed it once and thought it was going over the fence to the neighbors house. So I went out front tried tossing it in the street a few times, and the ball just kind of takes off. By the time it starts to boomerang back it just goes wildly off course (hit my roof twice) and I am just looking for it in the grass.Im sure this is something that probably takes significant practice, but I honestly was expecting something I could have fun entertaining my son with inside the house (Too powerful for that). The instructions suggest 15' to throw it, but realistically one bad throw will send it flying 50+ feet.

Great little toy. It is very easy to use and fun for both children and adults. You just charge it up, turn it on and then shake it to "wake it up" and then gently toss it in the air for some crazy flying fun. It can go pretty high and pretty far if you are not careful. It also goes in lots of random directions making it so much harder to catch (and thus making it more fun!) This little thing has bounced off trees, cars (accidentally I promise!), grass, rocks, road, you name it. It just bounces off like nothing happened. So it is SUPER durable and feels almost indestructible. It almost always automatically shuts off after it falls to the ground so it's not blowing around while you are trying to grab it. Now the only downside is the battery life. Depending on how far/high you throw it, the battery can last anywhere from 10-20 minutes before needing a good 20-30 minutes to charge up again. I feel like this is a decent amount of time for adequate fun, but do wish it was a little longer. I'd probably suggest getting two, one to play with while the other charges and then swapping out. Overall it is a fun little toy and can provide lots of entertainment. Definitely a giftable option or good for just keeping for yourself!
