New Wave Mental Maths: Year 3

We bought these for our 6 and 8 year old kids to help them with what they were doing at school. With a little bit of incentive (i.e. bribes) they have both enjoyed working through these books. The work is split into 10 questions for each school day, with space for putting in scores/results and the kids enjoy getting the feedback (and gold stars which we also bought as rewards for completing each question set). The 10 questions are blended as well which makes it more interesting for the kids, some are geometry, some are addition, multiplication, number series etc. It's a great learning aid to supplement what they get at school, and with the right incentives the kids are flying through. We've already had feedback from the school that the kids are improving.

Best mental maths book series I've seen. Have used in a classroom and at home with my own children. Top group children tend to work a year above.

Great books - would always buy the year above to ensure there is sufficient challenge.
