Very easy to install after viewing the video instructions. It seems stronger than the UPVC door it's screwed to. Looks as if it was supplied with the door and fits very neatly. The adjustable friction feature to help stop the door flying open is also great for my external door although only time will tell how well this lasts. Very good value for the price.

You need to use the instructions in the product photos on Amazon to fit, although the process is easy enough with some common sense such as drilling a pilot hole for the screws. Works well, keeps a large UVPC door open and restricts it from opening too far, wouldn’t want to test it in a strong wind. Adjust a little screw to increase tension where required.

Very easy to fit and let's our door open to 90° so it doesn't crash into the window sill.The resistance adjustment means the door won't blow shut on little fingers too. Great product just wish I'd known about it sooner

I bought this to solve a problem of a door swinging beyond 90deg. I wasn't sure what to expect so bought one as a trial (I have more doors with the same issue). After watching a couple of YouTube videos and with one false start behind me, I managed to get this fitted. It would have been much easier if instructions had been supplied with it, as the lack of instructions made what should have been a 5 minute job into more of a half-an-hour job. Once fitted it does the intended job, although I'm not entirely convinced that a few screws in UPVC are going to hold up over time. I do intend buying another though.

Used to replace my upvc french door arrester. They look well made and are a good replacement item.
