CloverPink Chacopen with Eraser

As advertised, it does disappear over time. Not sure how long it is visible, but the marks are definitely gone by the next morning. So plan to mark just prior to sewing.

This review is for the CLOVER Chacopen Air Erasable Pink with Eraser. I got this in pink because I needed to mark my Aida fabric for measurements while cross-stitching and yes, it does disappear when exposed to air.....Within less than a minute. That's almost pointless for my purposes, and to use it I have to rub it back and forth on the fabric again and again----no thin lines with this pen!----and basically grind and smear it into the fabric in order to get it to stay visible long enough to make the measurements! Yeah, I wanted a self-erasing pen, but I need it to last for 10 minutes or about that so that I can get done with my measurements.

Sorry, I haven't used this item. I can't adequately evaluate in any category. Ordering through Amazon is a huge convenience for me and I couldn't find what I wanted in town. I hope it will be fine.

These are great for marking your placement for embroidery

Was not sure what to expect when ordered, but it met and exceeded what I wanted. It makes an erasable fine line that I use to print/write letters on felt. I could not find taylor chalk fine enough and that did not smear. I am really happy with this item.

a little difficult to see- too light.

The pink ink of this pen bled on the fabric. It eventually fades away, which is nice, and I can use the eraser to get rid of it, but when I'm quickly creating items to sell, it's annoying to take this extra step. The Clover air eraseable markers in purple do not bled.

When I top quilt I wanted a marker to make the pattern. Chalk doesn't wash out well. This pen sounded good because it's erasable. It only comes in pink and I can't see it on colored or patterned fabric. I tried a little and found that the eraser works well but even without the eraser the mark dried up very quickly and disappeared. I used it on cotton so maybe it works on other surfaces better. However, it's supposed to be a fabric marker. I gave it 3 stars simply because it was shipped very quickly and packaged well. Also thinking that if used on a light fabric it would work better but then it limits it's use.

Brilliant pen needs no rubbing out although it comes with an eraser at other end which is a liquid it also does a brilliant job though I have found it unneeded I just tested it out. The only downside is either you do your work over the pen mark fairly quick as it does disappear the same way fairly quick. But don't let that put you off it as in a way it's a good downside as it does disappear fully I love it.

Fades rather rapidly, but I suppose that is better than not fading! I find I have to work quickly or else reapply frequently. Does make a nice fine line, is easy to see on most fabrics, and in the rare instance that I want to remove a mark before it fades, the attached eraser works perfectly.

Really useful product as the pink shows up on most coloured fabrics, however the quantity of ink is limited and so you need a replacement to complete anything bigger than a smallish quilt.

It first goes on clear but in a few seconds its there! So don't worry about it....it will also come out with a wash! Fabulous pen.
