Just what I was looking for to mark mounting holes on lights fixtures. Worked perfect!!

I was working on siding my house and I use these markers for all the layout work on the metal. They also work good on the siding. They were very consistent in marking. Colors were easily visible even though I was marking various substrates. I'd buy them again.

Seems to be good quality. Works for what I needed it for.

I use permanent markers to mark metal when doing metal work, welding, etc., but the tips of most markers are too thick-which reduces the accuracy of the cut. Also, they are fairly thick and it makes it hard to get into restricted areas when marking the inside of holes, etc. I've seen thin markers similar to these used on You Tube videos and finally found a set. They work well overall, and the price is reasonable. My biggest frustration, and it's significant for me, is that the cap doesn't stay on the back of the marker when you're using it... it will slide on but not snap into place so you have to set the cap somewhere while using the marker.

Give these long nib markers 5 stars because the cap actually stays on! Ive gone thru a bunch of different brands and the caps always come off in my tool bag or my pocket. These have stayed strong and haven't come off. The black markers have been doing great, the other markers have dried out a bit over the past few months but that's not a huge issue for a $9 marker. Ive only written with them on dusty and/or dry surfaces so I'm not sure how they do on wet or damp.
