I still have it and I love this item

I love this water backpack. It's insulated and keeps your water somewhat cool,but on a hot day the water gets warm. You can slide a soft flat ice pack in the pack on the back part on the inside of the pack. That has helped to keep my water cool. It has many pockets. Enough to hold a sandwich, extra drink bottle and a small first aid kit. There is also a zipper pocket on the front for smaller items like a wallet, keys, tissues,etc. It also has 2 wrap around stomach and chest straps so it doesn't slide around and cause irritation on your back and shoulders. Shoulder straps are padded and stay secure when adjusted. Holds 2 and a half 16oz water bottles poured into the water pack. This is usually enough for me on a 5-7 mile hike. I also put 2 extra water bottles in the backpack part of the bag. Just in case I need them. I purchased the khaki one with the American flag on it. I chose the color because it is light and wouldn't get too hot in the sun, black or a darker color would. The water tube mouth piece takes a little getting used to as far as figuring out how to get the water to flow easily into your mouth but it's not too bad after you get it down. There is also a protective foam over the water tube from the bag to the end of the tube. The mouthpiece has a cap cover which stays attached with a piece of plastic so you can't drop the cover. Overall I think it is a great water backpack with plenty of room for a day hike.

As time flies by, the body ages, and despite being an outdoors man for 50+ years, it requires some adaptations to stay able to move easily through the woods, swamps, and thickets. First, you look for lighter products, then you experiment with various bags. After going through several 'fanny' packs and determining they don't work, too low, not enough room, and catches on low cedar branches, I saw a low profile pack used by an outdoor survival school instructor. Checked it out, decided I couldn't afford it (USGI). Looked for alternatives, and found this gem. Carries what I need for a short trip (2 days), low profile, inexpensive, and distributes the weight nicely. Makes woods walks enjoyable once again!

UPDATE#2: Was contacted by the seller and given partial refund even tho I got a new one already. We'll see if this product lasts, but respect them standing behind it.FIRST: This is disgusting. I received one with water and mold in it.UPDATE #1: I also realized the one I got didn't have the patch on it. I finally got a new one and realized that this had definitely been returned, rewrapped and shipped off again.

Great little edc backpack!! Materials feel thick, made to last. The stitching is VERY well done! I’m impressed because I’ve bought a few “tactical” edc bags off of Amazon and had to return them same day cause the stitching was garbage and the bags felt thin, flimsy & weak.This stitching on this backpack is reinforced EVERYWHERE it needs to be…like I said it’s very well made considering the price. Great bang for your buck.Oh and it’s super comfortable! Feels good on your shoulders.SIZE: It’s big enough to carry your day to day essentials (subjective right?) but don’t expect to put shoes or gym clothes or anything big in there because it is on the smaller side…I’d say this is the perfect EDC bag for people like myself who HATE sling bags ‘cause they don’t stay in place and who really don’t wanna walk around with a big bulky tactical backpack.It comes with an Red White & Blue American Flag patch….I put my own Black & White Flag & Viking compass patches on it, purchased those separately.Get the backpack, you won’t regret it. 2 Thumbs Up.

I'm 5'2, 115lbs with a short torso. The problem I've had with so many hydration packs out there is they sit strangely on my body. Either they are too long, or the straps are too wide that the sternum strap makes the backpack straps sit weirdly. First thing I did when I opened the package was to slap this sucker on. The pack is more wide and short, rather than slim and long. I'm obsessed with Molle/tactical gear so was VERY happy when this thing fit me!! The American flag patch is bright, the zippers and material feel very high quality. Haven't used the hydration pack yet, but love that this pack is insulated. There's definitely the plasticky chemically smell, but usually some air will fix that.As far as storage, the pack will fit your essentials, the bottom will expand out to 3 inches, the top part doesn't expand so most of your stuff will sit on the bottom of the pack. Plus the outside pocket is also on the bottom of the pack. If you don't like more weight sitting on the bottom of your back vs. evenly spread, then keep it light :)Bonus: My 13" surface laptop fits in the main compartment (did not put the hydration bladder in with this) so I can even use it for daily commute to work.Yes I'm in pyjama pants.

The media could not be loaded. I love this bag. At first I was a little skeptical about its price compared to come of the hundred dollar ones I’ve seen in stores, but this one will do you just great. I used it the entire weekend at an all day (both days) airsoft event and it was the best thing I think I ever purchased for it. If you are a camper or do a lot of hiking as well this bag is the best one in my opinion. It’s very durable and has several places on the front for molly straps, carabiners, hooks, etc. The only downside is that there isn’t a place to attach the mouthpiece anywhere so it kind of just dangles.Things I was able to fit inside (With full water bladder)1 two person Portable hammockWith Hammock ropes/hooks2 headlamps1 Small flashlight1 Bug spray1 First aid kit2 disposable ponchos2 emergency sleeping bags1 inflatable pillow1 multi toolThere is still somewhat a little more space to fit very small things, but as of now that fills the bag!
