I can highly recommend this awning, the charcoal colour is very classy and has a premium build quality and feel. The frame is white coated metal and corrosion proof.I would suggest buying heavy duty wall anchor bolts with 12mm head, 60mm long (see pic, they are less than a fiver for a pack of 4 at leading hardware stores) as these grip the wall more securely than the plugs supplied. You will need a 12mm masonary drill bit to erect this and a decent hammer drill.I managed to put this up on my own but I imagine it will be easier with 2 people.My only criticism is that the ends could do with a shroud of some sort which would make them look neater but its no big deal.If you are fitting up against a wall as mine is at one side (see pic) you will need a ratchet and extension bar to tighten the wall bolts into place as its impossible to do this with a spanner.Overall a great value quality awning.

Bought to keep off the sun, the supplier initially sent the wrong colour awning. After contacting them a replacement was quickly provided. Will be buying more from this supplier.

Excellent product.You need at least two people to erect, as it is quite heavy, but easy enough to install.I have a narrow space, so was able to tilt it as it unfolds, to the ratio I wanted.The manual winder is easy to use, and unfolds and retracts with ease.Very good value for money.The manufacturer describes it as a "basic" product, but there is much more quality to it, to justify it as being basic.

Cant complain for the price and quality. I fitted this to my garden fence myself it wasn’t the hardest job I’ve ever done but also not the easiest either. Once the fitting are up its only the hanging it in place that’s a bit tricky on your own. So for two people it will be a breeze. I would advise using the cardboard its packaged in to mark out a template just to be super spot on with the measurements. Looks great works great cant fault it.

The awning arrived a day early which was great, as I could read the instructions and purchase any tooling required to fit it. The product arrived complete and in good condition. I read the instructions and they stated that a 12mm masonry bit was required, which I duly purchased. I drilled the 4 x 12mm holes and tried to insert the rawl plugs, which got stuck! On further examination I found that the plugs measured 14mm! I then had to go out and buy a 14mm bit and more plugs! I wasted time and money buying a 12mm bit! Why do the instructions say you can use a 12mm bit when you can't? Also why don't they give you the width measurement - ridiculous! Anyway I eventually drilled the holes and fitting the awning was quite easy and it looks good and is suitable for the job.

Good value for money. Easily installed and very sturdy when in place. Minor adjustments Easily dealt with if required. Would recommend.

This awning is exactly as described. However, the fixing is not easy, and the ease depends very much on the location and access to the bolts etc. It is a DIY challenge and all the tools are needed. Even when properly fixed there is the issue of wind. In any sort of windy situation, I feel sure the awning would be ripped from the wall just because it acts like a sail creating tremendous force. So it's a fair weather feature.It looks good and is an attractive addition to our balcony.
