60 More Quick Knits: 20 Hats*20 Scarves*20 Mittens in Cascade 220® Sport (60 Quick Knits Collection)

I’ve been knitting since Kennedy was in office....so long time. There are things I like/hate about patterns. I only knit for adults so I was pleased there are adult focused patterns. The instructions are clear. These are mostly useful items. I’d say I’d make 5 or 6 of them which is a lot for me.I dislike I-cord patterns so those were out for me. I also don’t need a hat that looks like a dog head. However there are plenty of reasonable and attractive scarves, hats and mittens here for the home knitter.

Lots of great patterns & also great variety. But I prefer when the general yarn weight being used in indicated in the pattern, rather than the specific brand & type being used, which in this case is the Cascade brand. It is touted as inexpensive & readily available! It is neither! I have found it only at Pacific Fabrics & it is very high priced for my taste & financial abilities! Much of it has wool content, which I cannot use. But the patterns are great! I still do recommend it.

I initially took this book out of the library and after skimming through it thought that I needed to have it. The book itself is fine ... I just didn't really need it. Not the book's fault ... my impulse buying. It's a nice book, but I am so into the knit from the neck down projects (no seaming) that anything with set-in sleeves is too much work, and I've never really gotten into all the intarsia knitting. It's a nice book ... and I'll probably go back and knit something from it if I ever finish the 10,000 projects I already have going.

I enjoyed this book. I hadn't worked with Cascade 220 Sport before I got the book, but I quickly fell in love with it. The projects are small enough that you can finish most very quickly. So far I've made Drawstring Cowl Hat and it came out very nice. I'm working on the slip stitch mittens and then I also bought the yarn for the Garter Hood with Lace Edging. That will be my next project. As an intermediate knitter I found the directions very easy to follow, and so far the patterns have been easy to memorize so I don't have to constantly look at the book as I'm working.

I'm always looking for more accessory patterns because they're fast and easy gifts. I liked this book because it provided 60 (obviously) interesting patterns for me to choose from. Some of them I probably won't use, but I found that a surprisingly good number of them were things I WOULD use. It's also a bonus for me that 220 sport is a nice, inexpensive yarn with good color selections so that I don't have to find alternative yarns for the projects.

I really like the first book (60 Quick Knits), so I have been anxiously awaiting the release of 60 More Quick knits! Book is presented in the same format as the first book. I really like the fact that these hats can be made with just about any Sport weight yarn that is similar to cascade 220. The majority of the patterns are labeled intermediate and above. There are just a handful of true beginner patterns. In my opinion, the patterns are well presented with charts as well is row by row instruction. I just hope that there aren't a lot of errors to deal with!

Lots of cute things to make. I gave this as a gift and the recipient also like lots of the patterns.

I have the first book and liked it, this second book is good too. It's nice to have lots of patterns for quick knits, since they make good gifts. This is a book that you can go to for quick knitted gifts.

Book arrived in plenty of time in very good condition.An excellent amount of small items to knit and wear, and a lovely choice of patterns and stitches usinga wide variety of colours. Which is exactly what I required, to help me minimise my rather large amount of left over yarn from other projects,the only problem is deciding which project to knit first!
