Depends on what you want to use for. I would say 350ml-400ml water for one cube for vegetable soup. I also use this for making meat sauce, white sauce!

Is this a clear consume like what is served in Chinese restaurant for Wonton soup?

Yes, very similar - We use this a lot for Asian cooking, or just to enjoy a hot cup of consume. It's much better than the Korr brand. A quality Japanese company makes it.

Cubes hard to crumble

The taste of these is great, and I'm definitely a fan. But the cubes are rock hard, making them difficult to crumble, if you only need half a cube. So since my first purchase, I've been going for this same product available in granule form, either in a jar or in small sachets, which are also available online.
