I haven’t tried it so much, but it’s on my gimbal already DJI rs3 pro and it’s working as it should so far, haven’t tested the vertical mode yet but it looks promising 🤞☺️

I bought this specifically to make my camera mount vertically on the DJI Ronin RS3 Pro, but to my disappointment when I try to balance the gimbal, there was no way to balance the outer motor. In my picture you can see I can't move it further down to balance it so the camera is facing up. Also the 2 knobs that secure the plate, was at max tightness, and I notice it sliding a bit some times, so I end up having to rebalance it again.

Wow, when I'm recording videos, it makes it easy for me to change from vertical to horizontal and vice versa with a single turn. It is very well built to go from one position to another, it is very fluid. It has a lock to avoid unwanted movements when I place it in the desired position. It is perfectly made to fit with my DJI stabilizer. Excellent support. If you want to save time in the process of changing from vertical to horizontal when recording videos, I recommend this support. Most importantly, it does not distort the stabilization of the stabilizer when moving from one position to another.

This mount works well if your camera is stable on its own, but I had some trouble balancing my Nikon Z5 because it’s heavier on one side. I solved it by adding a camera rig top handle on the cold/hot shoe to shift the center of gravity. The mount itself is solid, but the plate from the RS3 isn’t long enough to balance it properly. Without the rig handle the camera has to sit right on the safety pin at the very edge, which feels risky. Other than that it does the job.
