Love them. Knew nothing about them, but always looking to try new ways to catch fish without always needing to plan a bait run! These do catch fish in the surf, intercostals and...even in freshwater lakes and canals! Location used, Florida USA.

I thought I was getting a good online deal. Turns out, it was the same (single) pack that I could buy in a store. It also reads, "2 x 12 inch" which it's not. It's more like 9" strands of bait. But ASIDE from that, when I initially fished this product, I was about to give up on it. Three outings and about 6 hours of fishing multiple spots top and bottom and no fish. Then, on the 4th trip by Naples FL, a black drum hammered on the shrimp flavor. It was my first black drum and broke the slump. Since then, it's produced catfish and snapper, and while reeling in, a huge mystery fish slammed it but got away. I keep this in my tackle box now and when I get skunked casting for bait, I can put the cast net away and just FISH. The consistency is like carpet backing, so it stays on until you want it off (and maybe even beyond). Keep a knife and/or pliers handy for this stuff.

Pieces cut big or small, you will catch fish on the Atlantic Ocean. A little also goes a long way!

Used these for fluke (summer flounder) in NJ. Mostly in the Belmar inlet. What a difference in bites! All you need is a small piece depending on how your rigging up your bait. I used this combined on spearing and squid strips. Used also on soft baits offshore. I also like their other version the fast acting. And FYI! These things STAY on the hook strong as heck!

The white color squid strips didn't work very well but the red shrimp color work way better. They bolth smell like cardboard. They work decent comboed with real bait. The color seems most important to the fish though!

I've ordered a few of these in various flavors and they've all showed up in good condition and not dried out.These baits work really good for more of the reef species that like to nibble and rip softer baits off, trigger fish being what I primarily whip this bait out for. The mesh netting in the middle prevents them from tearing off the entire bait.My fishing buddy and I went from wondering what was running off with our salted squid to catching trigger fish (primary culprit), damsels, wrasses, and other small reef fish with only about 25% bait theft, compared to the 85-90% theft with traditional cut bait.

I like this product .What is good about it it is that you don't need to deal with the fresh bait, and the result are the same.and some times better.
