The ax arrived quickly wrapped in plastic. The ax itself is guarded by a heavy duty canvas sheath for protection. With a hammer head on the opposite side of the sharp edge. This will be a versatile tool to take with me camping. It's lightweight but durable. It also has an easy grip handle and a rope bracelet on the end of the handle. I would definitely recommend this hacks to anyone.

I just got these so only time will tell how they actually hold up. That being said, my initial thoughts - they are very lightweight. I wouldn't call them flimsy. They feel like they will do the job just fine but these are not meant for taking abuse. The metal is solid but quite light compared to another similar hatchet I have. These will still be good for camping and hacking odd branches and what not. I would not use these for really heavy use. The metal is light so for one you're not getting a lot of weight behind your swing which minimizes impact. I could also see the axe head bending or chipping pretty easy if you were to cut branches on the ground into gravel or something. Like I said they're not flimsy they don't feel like they're going to break, I just feel like you should be selective of the uses and how you apply them

Handle snapped first camping trip. Good tool but the plastic handle isn’t strong enough. We used it to pull up tent stakes and it snapped in half. Granted the stakes were in the ground good. May be fine for people not putting too much stress on handle but didn’t work well for us. Nice it’s a tool with multiple uses.
