Not too bad for a beginner...
Full disclosure: I am an FAA Part 107 licensed drone pilot, and I have been flying DJI drones for about 10 years (currently using an Air 3S). This drone isn't too bad for a beginner, but I suggest using it in an area without many obstacles, as the hover isn't too steady... it floats around a lot. The instructions are easy to follow, and taking off/landing is very easy. Also, having GPS lock is a big plus. It has a lot of added features, like tracking and waypoints. The picture/video quality is not earth-shattering good, but it's ok. I will try to attach a "before and after" picture... "after" being very basic exposure adjustment in Lightroom (the brighter picture is the modified one). The one thing I don't like is the curvature of the horizon. But still, the quality isn't too bad. As for video, there is a slight "muddy" tone to it, but still acceptable for what it is... the video shows how the hovering floats around, but still doesn't stray too much from its hold point. The case that comes with it is very convenient. Everything fits in there nicely. All in all, it really does make for a decent beginner drone.

Gimble DOA
I wanted to like this drone. It seems well built, the camera image was pretty good. It is very quiet! The price was great! However, the gimble was DOA and did not move. I tried several calibrations, unsuccessfully. There are no suitable videos that address this.

Great beginner or backup drone
Best drone for beginners and great back up drone for more advanced users. Setup is fast and easy. Good range of approximately 500 meters. Picture is clear and stable with 2 axis gimble. Can't believe this GPS drone cost under $50 with so many features. Don't wait, just get one. Don't believe the haters. Video transmission is rock solid

Great but video is NOT 4k
The drone flies well and the image stabilization is pretty good. But you must be aware, the specs in the listing are not correct. The video is only Quad HD (2560x1440), closer to 2k. See screenshot. Yes, that is directly off the SD card, not the transmitted video to the phone. The transmitted video is even less which is why you should make sure you use the SD card for best resolution download. Photos are 4k (3840x2160), however. It is still a great drone but the price should reflect the features.

Unstable GPS Hover & Broken Live Video Feed (Not for Beginners)
Pros: Compact, lightweight (<249g) folding frame with decent physical build Fast Wi-Fi pairing and quick telemetry sync with smartphone Cons: Severe "toilet bowl" circular drifting during hover, even with 9 GPS satellites locked Live FPV video feed in the ST FLY app stays black or freezes continuously Unpredictable drift forces constant manual corrections Full Review: I purchased the ST Mini X drone expecting a smooth, entry-level quadcopter, but critical sensor instability and software bugs make it extremely frustrating to fly. I would not recommend this for an inexperienced drone flyer. Despite connecting quickly to the required ST FLY app and locking on to 9 GPS satellites, the drone refuses to maintain a stationary hover. Instead, it enters an immediate "toilet bowl" pattern—swirling in widening, uncontrolled circles without any stick input. Because the drone drifts unpredictably toward nearby trees, fences, and walls, a beginner will easily crash while trying to manually compensate for the erratic movement. Compounding the flight stability issues, the live camera feed (FPV) is virtually non-functional. The app establishes a Wi-Fi link to the drone, but the video decoder fails to process incoming keyframes, leaving a blank black screen or a frozen video frame on the phone screen. While numerical telemetry (battery voltage, satellite count) updates in real time, the actual camera feed never renders reliably. This model relies on low-cost generic electronics (HI25K module running Feisha protocol) wrapped in rebranded app software. If you receive a unit with poor factory IMU/compass calibration, the software simply cannot keep the drone level or stream video. Unless you are an experienced pilot who knows how to manually manage a drifting quadcopter without relying on camera footage, you

Bad battery
Faulty battery The drone camera is very good. On of The battery doesn't work. I spoke to an Amazon associate who promised me I would get a replacement, and that i was to look out for an email with shipping. Its been 3 days and nothing so i reach out again but another agent tells me I have to return which I can't, because I live overseas . I just need my battery this drone isn't cheap i bought it specifically because it has 2 batteries . Im very upset and disappointed

Pay more for better quality! It’s worth it
Awesome drone. Unfortunately I went with the $1-200 drones before this, and wasn’t happy. I generally use this for scouting/observing wild life, and the other drones couldn’t go more than 1000ft before disconnecting With this drone, I can do a a mile and still have crystal clear connection, I haven’t tried any farther as I’m concerned I may loose it, but I bet it would go if I tried! Very pleased. And battery life is pretty good! I can get 20-25 min a battery

Know what you’re ordering
First ever review on Amazon. The first one I ordered-the gimbal remained canted sideways and made the photos and video not straight. Could not be corrected. Sent back for replacement (and that was easy). On 5th or 6th flight, the replacement drone lost connectivity and flew away- never to be located despite going through set up steps. Required calibration before every flight even if at the same location just swapping out batteries. Sometimes it wouldn’t calibrate at all. I’d just be cautious on this brand. Probably should’ve spent a little more for peace of mind and quality.
