Great basic wireless mouse for the price
I already use a TeckNet wired mouse, but having two levels of desk, I wanted a basic secondary mouse and it seemed reasonable to use their version of the wireless mouse. The USB nano style receiver is stored inside the battery compartment and when inserted into the front USB port worked immediately. I have had no conflicts in using both the wireless and wired mice 2 together on my PC. This wireless mouse could be used by a right or left handed user. It is a very basic mouse having no additional functions other than left and right mouse click and scrolling wheel. There is a DPI button than made no difference in terms of accuracy as far as I could tell. The wireless mouse goes into hibernation mode after a period of time of non use, but awakens within 1-2 seconds of activation which wasn't a problem for my desktop use. Very straightforward optical mouse. Brilliant for the price and if the battery last for 18 months its an added bonus.

Tecknet MO11 wireless mouse
I have used a classic M0001 TeckNet wireless mouse for almost 3 years now and find it so good I would stick to TeckNet for my mouse. In fact I have bought many of them for friends and family, who are also convinced of the products quality.Needing a new mouse for my second PC I decided to get the new (ish) economy version. The mouse is a full sized one but is flatter than the classic and does not have the side controls. I, and most other people, do not use these controls anyway. The mouse works perfectly and is comfortable to handle. It has a button which allows you to tailor the dpi, on the fly, a scroll wheel and takes 2 AAA batteries. Tecknet claim 18 months battery life for this model, as it does with the classic but in practice my first classic batteries lasted 2 years without even switching it off between uses. I would expect this model to be the same.In conclusion, I must say I would go for the slightly more expensive classic, mainly because I prefer the feel and comfort. However, for a left hander the classic would not be suitable. This one would be. Highly recommended, specially for left hander’s.

An excellent wireless mouse at a bargain price
For the price, this is an excellent mouse. Responsive, easy to control and comfortable to hold. One feature I particularly like is the on/off button to conserve battery life. The USB receiver fits inside the battery compartment so is nice and secure when you travel. If I was to make one criticism - and this is being very picky - I have had a TeckNet mouse before that felt a bit better quality. Too early to tell if that is the case but it's hard not to compare the two. Hence only 4 stars. But, overall, I would have no hesitation in recommending this.

Highly recommended with useful button functions.
Super budget mouse that does all you need. Useful buttons to change pointer speed although it's easy to change this by accident. The forward and back page buttons are great. Highly recommended.

Up to Technet's Usual High Standards
I've got Technet bits and pieces which go back at least a decade and all still working perfectly. Never had anything but excellence from them, and this is no exception. Connected instantly with 2.4g; plus bluetooth paired without delay. Good there are two connection options: bluetooth has the edge as makes no difference how far away you are from computer, whereas with 2.4g I noticed that mouse is more responsive the nearer it is to the (supplied) dongle. Only other thing I could fault is lack of instructions for adjusting the rate of cursor travel across screen (this has a techy acronym which I can't remember). Turns out each time you press little button on top it it wheels one more notch through the three speeds then starts again. That aside, is comfortable, smooth, fairly quiet, and doesn't have that annoying new thing where it only wakes up when you click it - i.e. it wakes up soon as you move it. Brilliant and cheap.

Unfortunate choice of adhesive
Actually a decent mouse. Comfortable and light to throw in the work bag. Has functioned perfectly for the past year. However... the glue that they used to attach the rubber side pieces has become liquid and oozed out making your hands sticky every time you use it.
