Worth it
Bought this when it was on a super sale during the spring and the seller didn't want to pay amazon's crazy storage fees. That said, this works great for capturing moisture in the air for stuff like storm shelters or a gun safe.

This product will melt ice quickly on concrete.
My driveway, walkway, and steps are far too expensive to replace. So, I never use rock salt that can eat away at concrete. After 20 years, I must know these pellets work.

Same great product, 25 pound bag is twice as easy to handle than 50 pound bag!
I just turned 66 years old and looking to make things easier. Something as simple as going from 50 pound bag to 25 pound bag is a real game changer. Minimum price increase per pound, great ergonomic improvement!The purpose of the product is safety, and this smaller bag makes handling it safer, too!

Non-powdery crystal form makes distribution over icy ground efficient and easy
This ice melt does the job. The crystals remain on the surface for quite a while, providing extended melt time and safety. While I prefer the pelletized form, this ice melt was very effective. Some of the crystals were too large (1/8") to dissolve over time and had to be swept away after all the snow/ice was gone, but this is a minor nit. Otherwise I would have rated the product 5.

Not exactly what was pictured
The contents of the bag are what I'm looking for, so no big deal; but the item I received is not what was pictured. The listed item was the "Melt-2-Go".The item I received was just the red Snow Joe "Melt" calcium chloride pellets. The purity percentage is the same, so I'm assuming it's the same product, just a different name. But additionally, the item pictured/described in the listing said it had a resealable bag (one of the selling points); but the item I received is not resealable...in fact it looks like it was sloppily sealed with someone's curling iron...and it had several holes in the bag up by the "seal".

Very hard on concrete.
This stuff works great but it is causing my concrete step surface to crumble.
