This thing is magical!!
Works perfectly. My Cane Corso doesn't mind wearing it at all, it's comfortable and sturdy. It takes a little time to adjust the straps and make sure the buckle slides are in the right place so it doesnt loosen. But once you have the right fit it's easy! Snaps on and off in seconds, easy to wash and quick to dry. I had the waistband on upside down the first couple days but, even though the fit was obviously off a little, it still worked! (I finally YouTubed a video to figure it out and, after putting it on right, it was 100% perfect.) Her partner Dog is a 120lb Cane Corso who can chew through walls and he couldn't figure a way around the PABS. And he tried!! I saw him pull at the straps with his teeth lol. My husband and I both work and it was in place every time we came home. You definitely need to wash it every day because of where you use it. The dog pees right through the mesh (it's plastic-y, not absorbent, so the pee runs right through) and because she can't directly lick her lady bits it gets kinda gross. I just wash it in the tub with a tiny bit of bleach and Tide, rinse well, pat dry then toss it in the dryer on medium for 10 min. It's a little stiff the first few days but after wear and wash it's fine. She wore it for 17 days until we were sure her heat was over and the Male dog calmed down.TMI but it saved us the torture of having to seperate our dogs and made it less stressful for our Male dog who could still mount her and do his thing but kept her safe.Zero complaints and fantastic peace of mind.

It seemed like a good concept
I am sorry this product did not work for me. It seemed like a good concept. Dexter, the company owner tried to make it right. However, the company repeatedly send a different size than I ordered, the wrong number of diapers, etc. I ordered XL, and ultimately got 3 XXLs, and one L. I tried both the sizes but couldn't get these to fit on the dog. Perhaps that was my fault; If I had the right size, I couldn't figure out how to adjust it correctly. I spent a couple of hours on this because I wanted it to work. The instructions on fitting the device could be better, the picture lacks sufficient detail.Dexter, the owner was easily available by phone, and seemed more than willing to send replacements, so I have no idea what was going on. After 4 tries I returned them all. Dexter approved the refund and paid for the shipping.

helped me with my intact male and female in same household
A lot of people would advise to get your pups fixed- if this wasn't what you wanted to do and like me- wanted to let my pups grow and mature & fully grow first- this was an alternative that definitely helped me throughout my journey. I've got two dogs one male one female (female is pitbull and male is mixed breed ) Both just turned one and this is her second heat- This helped me a lot with the process of having both in the same household especially because I cannot have one separated to stay outdoors (weather is normally colder) with that being said what helped me be more reassured with no surprise pregnancy was:-I bought dog diapers and had her wear this underneath the chastity belt- on the diaper by her private area I put ointment of a menthol-like paste to mask the scent , I found that only putting the paste without the diaper still my male dog can easily sense when she was dripping, etc.- In addition to the menthol-like paste on the diaper underneath, I also put some right on the outside where the padding is supposed to go on the belt. This definitely helped with masking the scent and usually saved me alot of time to even get to them and seperate them if he did try to rip it off of her.- The belt where you can place the padding is built where the female can use the restroom both 1 &2 if fitted properly, however I always took it off when she was using the restroom and also at night. Majority used it during the day and when I had to leave out urgently.- I was mostly with them during the whole period -aside from the last week of the four and if you're not able to do the same- you will get a feel if whether or not your male pup will chew this belt off or not- mine did not- also I used strong tape ( you can use duct tape) for wherever it is loose or needs to be fitted a certain way this also helped as every dog is shaped differently and my pup just so happen to have wider hips.Overall, if your male dog is not a biter/chewer and your female is comfortable with it- it should help !

Doesn't fit properly.
It's an awesome concept but when your dog goes potty it still gets on the pad and makes it very uncomfortable for the dog. You would have to be constantly washing it. I returned it. Would be better if the area that covers the breading spot was smaller and it was more adjustable than the straps. So wish it would have worked.

Locked down tighter than Fort Knox
This is an amazing product as an alternative to spay or neuter. We have 130lb dogs and this passed the test. Our male tugged, pulled, tried to figure it out, and tried to slide it out of place. All to no avail!! It took us a few tries to get it perfectly adjusted. But once we did- it was locked down!! The best contraption we’ve ever tried and will purchase a new one for backup. Our only complaint is the flimsy plastic clips and D-rings- zip ties to the rescue. Metal would be more durable. The nylon in the fabric also makes the straps slip just enough to be dangerous. Frequent checks and tightening is key. Relieving herself with it on is a struggle- thank goodness it’s easily washable! The strap between the legs always gets pee on it. But, I’d rather have pee on a strap than a litter of puppies!!! She isn’t impressed with it on, but we sure are!!!
