This is all the cards you will need; with 100 mana cards (25 each) and many preselected cards you will have many great cards for your deck. Also in my opinion there is no better option because many other options do not give mana, and may give you any good cards.

From a mom who knows nothing about this game-is this game on line or can you play it just with the cards from the box

The online game is different to the one with the cards. The one online does not have human interaction. The ones with the cards in the box requires human interaction. (The online version also costs money to play.)
