Skechers Men's Relment- Pelmo Hiking Boots

I have big wide feet and most hiking boots aren't that comfortable. Plus, a decent boot is way overpriced. This boot fits perfectly, seems well made and is decently priced. It has a very comfortable inner sole for all day walking and standing. Arch support is good without being too much. Styling is great, not too flashy but well decorated. For the price, I could easily use these as work boots then just toss them when they wear out. They are too nice for that, so I use them for cold weather and traveling shows.

Below is my review after 75 miles of hiking. For context, I've owned these boots for a few months, and all of my hiking was done in the San Tan mountains of Arizona. The trails there are a mixture of hard-packed dirt, rocky sections, sand, and steep rocky inclines with loose sand and gravel (e.g. Goldmine Mountain).Grip: 5/5 At first, looking at the photos in the listing, I wasn't sure about the grip, but the boots have done well on rocky inclines as well as sections with loose sand and gravel.Ventilation/Cooling: Neutral. I hike in Arizona where temps are normally on the warmer side. I haven't really noticed a difference in this category in the different boots I have owned. No complaints.Durability: 4/5 Overall they are holding up well. I'm not concerned about stepping on jagged/spiked rocks as the boots seem to be fairly tough, and the sides and laces are solid. There is a small section where the sole is starting to separate as shown in the photo, which seems premature, but otherwise the boots have been solid.Weight: Neutral. The boots are light and durable at the same time. No complaints.Comfort: 5/5 My goal with hiking boots is to not have to think about them when hiking, whether that means being concerned about durability, or having pinch points that poke into my feet. These boots are very comfortable, and don't hurt my feet at all.Quality: 4.5/5 Other than the small separation noted above, the boots are holding up very well after hiking many rocky trails. The tread and grip are great, and the overall construction of the materials, lace holes and laces appears to be high quality with no issues so far.The bottom line is that I have full confidence in these boots, and if this same model is available when my current boots wear out, I would buy the exact same boots again.Hopefully this information is helpful to others.

These boots are very light weight, good fit in both length and width (15W), flexible despite the fairly thick soles and comfortable. On the downside, the deep square grooves in the soles are serious mud magnets.The real negative is the laces. Nylon, really Skechers? There’s a reason shoe laces have been made of cotton for 100 years, they stay tied!

Very comfortable, lite, and waterproof. Mainly use them for working in the yard and am completely satisfied...

Best work boots I have ever bought. The grip is amazing and so supportive. I have had 7 back surgeries and can walk all day in these. Like walking on clouds. Waterproof as well no need to apply any chemicals

I've been wearing ASICS for the past 10 years. I used to love Sketchers until I started to have problems with my feet. I needed something that would give me Ankle support when I'm cutting the lawn. I ordered a "Gardner's" waterproof shoe, which I immediately returned, awful. I described to AI the situation and it recommended (3) Hiking Boots. Top one was, "Columbia Mens Newton Ridge Plus II Waterproof Hiking Boot", the other, was the Sketchers. So I purchased both. The Sketchers was $45.74 Cheaper and much more comfortable. Ankle support was really Good. The Ridge Plus felt like I was walking barefoot on concrete. Highly Recommend! UPDATE: Just finished mowing my lawn and these Sketchers performed fantastic perfect for what I had to do. I can't say I can wear these all day, but for purpose which I purchased them, Perfect.

I love the boots they are comfortable and good for work, this is the second time i buy them, the only issue i have and it happened to my last pair also the shoe lace holder brakes, and is the same one on both pairs took one week after I bought them to break this time.
