TimexExpedition Base Shock Watch

Excellent watch! Looks very similar to gshocks. Pictures do not do it justice. Very satisfied with my purchase. Excellent features. 2 times, 3 alarms, countdown timer and chronograph with more than 20 laps. Very easy to use right out the box athough required a little bit getting used too. Definitely worth it! Great value, no doubt about it. Highly satisfied with purchase. Love this quality timepiece.

I love all of its functions. The Indiglo is especially cool!!Very resistant, super smooth design and easy to use functions, chrono, timer and dual-time.

My son has loved this watch. However, the indo-glow stopped working after a few months. Otherwise, it's a nice watch for an older boy who's ready for something a bit larger.

I was looking for a replacement for my 15+ year old Timex Ironman Shock with Indiglo that I would wear hiking, doing yard work, and on weekend outings. I still like my old watch, but the wife says it is too ugly and worn down to wear anywhere other than while digging in the back yard so I began the search for a replacement.When I first started looking I saw this watch and said "this doesn't look as cool as the G-Shocks" so I ordered a couple of those to try out. In the end I came back to this watch for the following reasons:1) Functionality - When I look at the watch I know what time it is immediately. If it's dark, the indiglo lights up the digits perfectly (although differently than my old version).2) Familiarity - I didn't realize until I tried other brands that something as simple as swapping the function of the buttons around (Mode, Start\stop, etc.) could mess with me. I had gotten quite used to the Timex layout.3) Feel - While this watch is slightly larger than my old one, it isn't anywhere as big as the Casio G-Shock watches. Plus the straps are of a softer rubber and the weight and balance seems lighter\better.4) Price - I would have paid more for the better looking (IMO) G-Shock if it weren't for the other three items.

I haven't owned a Timex in over 50 years and I'm glad I purchased this one. I really like the display, it's so clear with well defined letters and numerals, far superior to the Brand C, that I had been purchasing. My only wish is that Timex made an automatic time piece in this style, that's one of the reasons I had been purchasing Brand C. But after having this Timex about 1 week, I don't mind that it is not an automatic time keeper. I also like the fact that it is shock and water resistant it's definitely something I must have in my everyday watch. If you're irritated with the automatic time keeping of your Brand C, try Timex again, well worth the money.

I'm on my second one in 6 months. Both have had issues. The first one stopped working with in the return period and the second has stopped after ~4 months. Both developed problems with the display not functioning. Highly disappointed in the reliability of this model. Otherwise when they worked they were great watches. I really liked the the features, look, and function set up.

For years, I wore expensive watches. I switched to wearing quality Timex watches. They are decent quality and very inexpensive. You get a name brand at a low price. I get bored wearing the same watch so I added this one. So far I like it. All the functions work. Timex is the only watch with indiglo . Other watches light up, but Timex watches are a bit easier to read. I can not find any flaws. watch looks good. it is comfortable . Easy to read Day or night. Has date, day, Time.

great watch
