BRAVO COMPANYQD D-Ring, Sling Swivel, Stainless BCM-QDSSS-D

As a former competitive shooter, I had a few rifle slings and other straps hanging around here that I decided to repurpose for heavier photography gear. This led me to look for a good QD stud for my Blackrapid strap. While BR has a QD strap, I didn't want to fork out a bunch of money on ANOTHER strap when a QD stud was considerably cheaper. I picked up one of the imported $5 studs and it just doesn't click firmly enough into place for me to be comfortable hanging a $7500 camera setup from it, so enter this BCM stud. As far as I'm concerned, there is no alternative unless another milspec worthy company comes out with one with a triangular ring instead of a D ring.For now, this is perfect. Rugged, fits QD mounts flushly with a positive click, and still releases when you need it to. I wouldn't mind it being a few bucks less, but I'm happy for the insurance policy of a higher quality component.

Best of the QR swivels out there. Solid as a rock and built to take whatever you throw at it. I wouldn't waste my money on any of the 15 dollar ones.

These Sling swivels are good quality. In my case I was willing to pay $33 on QD slings to hold a $3500 rifle to the sling, but hey are expensive for what they are

If your looking for quality and function in your QD sling swivel, you should get this one. The detents are solid and the material looks and feels great. The D-ring style doesn't fit a 1 1/4" sling material perfectly but I like that it fits tight. It makes it not feel sloppy and it just looks different. A sling with clips might work better but I don't like all the extra motion that leaves in the sling. This one is exactly what I was looking for.

Easy to use, well built and makes my MS3 sling even more versatile.

Great swivel from a great company

Great quality. Can always expect that from BCM. My only gripe, they should've put a star on the button!! I mean take full advantage. I get it would eventually ware off with enough use. But, the potential was there. Other than that, BCM is my go-to. Veteran-ran company. They know what they are doing.
