Knee Scooter Comfy Cushion Two Inch Thick Foam Knee Pad and Cover - Fits Most Knee Walker Models

I had complex foot surgery, and my surgeon ordered me to get one of these to keep any weight off my foot. Even with the "cons" I've listed below, all in all, I'm very pleased with it. Here are what I found to be pros and cons:Pros~-It is very sturdy and well-made for the price. I would expect to pay a lot more at a medical supply company.~Easy to assemble; took my husband about 25 minutes~Very smooth riding; really glides on my wood/laminate floors-don't know how well it would move on carpet; haven't tried it outside yet.~Has smooth rubber wheels that don't scuff the floors.~Except for small turning radius, otherwise easy to maneuver~Has adjustable handle bar height~Attached basket convenient for moving items from place to place.Cons:Don't like the split cushion seat, it's very uncomfortable on the shin. I bought a separate attachable cushion (made for scooters like this one,) that solved that problem and made it very soft and comfortable.~Very limited turning radius. We have a small house, so that made it a bit difficult to maneuver; I have to lift the entire scooter to turn it around at times. Probably better in larger/longer spaces.~Although I like the adjustable handle bar,( I'm 5'6" and had to raise it to full extension), the attached basket doesn't raise any higher, so it's a little too low for me.~Any liquids need to be capped or have a secure lid to be able to put in the basket. Difficult to transport uncovered drinks and steer at the same time.I would recommend this scooter for its durability and price.

I love my scooter and the mobility it gives me. However, I have very bony knees that make it nearly impossible to kneel under most circumstances. But with foot surgery pending, I needed a way to get around while I was non-weight bearing. This made a world of difference! By adding this to my scooter, I could kneel in comfort and focus on the mechanics of getting around. At one point I fell and bruised said knee, so I added a couple more pieces of foam beneath this cover and it not only stayed secure but helped me over that injury. It easily fits over the scooter platform and the strong but stretchy elastic gathered securely around the bottom of the platform.My only CON is that the cover is a plushy, white, fake fur. This will become matted from contact with bandages and casts and begin to look grimy, too. But since I cannot use my scooter without it and the foam is sown into the fabric cover, it is not a simple matter of washing it. I have no idea who long it will take to dry and cannot be without my scooter for hours. I will likely make a cover for the cover before my next surgery.If you like your knees, I recommend adding this to your scooter! I am so glad I did.

This is very comfortable and easy to install/ What I have noticed in the few days I have had it is that the cushion moves around a little (not while using the scooter) but it doesn't stay completely in place. I am happy with my purchase, but this one detail prevents me from giving a 5 star review.

I am 5 foot 1 inch tall 53 YOA, plus size female. The scooter height is perfect for my height, in doing my research I found not all scooters can work for shorter people. The chair and handle bars are both adjustable. There is a brake on the right handle bar, the brake is a rear only brake and is very easy to use, not stiff or hard to grab and apply break; the break also has a button to lock the wheels which is a great feature. The seat itself has ample cushion; I thought at first that it was soft enough but with my boot on (foot surgery) and my plus size frame it became a bit uncomfortable, so I purchased additional padding with a Sherpa cover. The tires are air filled, wider than most other style wheels and have good tread. The tires make for a nice smooth ride; the air along with the tread help in going over thresholds and outdoor terrain. The scooter itself is very light, which makes it easy for me to move it around by sliding it when in a tight space. The scooter itself will only allow you to turn the handle bars to a certain degree (safety feature). The scooter is easy to put in you car my 80 YOA father had no problem picking it up and placing in the back of his car. I highly recommend this scooter.

This cushion saved my knee!!!! After I broke my ankle (trimalleolar fracture) I was using my knee scooter and had another unfortunate fall off the scooter and landed on my knees --- needless to say I really banged them up and I couldn't put my knee on my knee scooter without intense pain - this cushion took care of that! If you are zero weight bearing and using a knee scooter, this cushion is so helpful - the cushion doesn't move around, and my leg did not slip off (these were my concerns) it was perfect , soft, cushy and your leg sinks into it creating a "well" that keeps you stable. The fit was perfect for my scooter.

The cover was plush and fluffy, but kept sliding side to side and elevated the height of the scooter pad too high as the scooter was already at it's lowest setting to fit comfortably. On the plus side, it fit over the scooter pad very easily.

Almost judged this cushion from right out of the box, (felt very stiff). Glad I actually waited to put it on my knee scooter as it has made a tremendous difference in my knee comfort during my non-weight bearing recovery period. Sturdy & doesn’t let my knee slip from side to side, like the all gel cushion I tried. Happy with my purchase!

Ordered this same cushion twice now. Foot surgery few years ago and other foot surgery this year. Still amazing and provides the most comfort. Would recommend gauze directly on the knee if using for weeks or months as it may cause slight carpet burn feeling but works great and machine washable! Doesn’t distort shape when you let it air dry.
