Superman Legacy Box Set

This Box that was incredible. Five different Superman Classics to jump straight in. I hadn’t read all of these in the past so it was great to catch up with the Cannon. The box looks incredible with the books inside. If I only had one gripe it would be that my Box had a couple of marks on. That was quite sad but was obviously the courier definitely recommend it’s cheaper than buying all of the books on themselves.

Several great Superman trades by some phenomenal artists and writers in a sturdy cardboard slip case. I've recently been buying comics again, and having this collection of stories together -especially if you're someone who enjoyed the 2025 Superman movie - was fantastic, especially for the price. Even if you don't like the slip case, this set is more cost-effective than buying them separately. Also worth noting (if you're someone like me who enjoys things being the same size on your shelf) that this set is the same size as the paperback Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow edition, which is also well worth a purchase.

Great collection, 6 Graphic novels.

The set is advertised as four softback reprints of the classic Superman stories in a cardboard slipcase, and that is precisely what you get. The four advertised stories are Kingdom Come, All-Star Superman, Superman For All Seasons, and two Alan Moore Superman stories in a single edition. These are all good, serviceable trade collections. Anyone who expected a massive archival or Absolute-style edition will be disappointed. What was unexpected was that it also contains two more recent collected stories by Tom King and Joshua Williamson. These are fine and are probably a case of DC wanting to plug its current ongoing series, but they felt out of place. This would have been an excellent opportunity to reprint The Greatest Superman Stories Ever Told, which was compiled for Superman's 50th anniversary.

The concept I great - Superman (2025) was a great movie that got many people wanting to read his comics so let’s release a comic box set with all his best works. The box is designed well, the comics picked are good, should be a good product. What is going on with the delivery/distribution? I ordered the first time and there was a big rip in the box case, so I order a replacement and there’s a big damage line running across the top of the box along with marks that expose the brown cardboard here and there and the comics themselves inside have noticeable damage with white paper fluff appearing. Everything is good, just have whoever is handling these do it with a little more care or even improve the quality of the box itself and you’ll have a great product. The Batman (2022)’s comic box set didn’t have any of these issues. Ruined my experience twice.

The value of this is crazy, I paid 55 bucks to get 6 trades of amazing Superman stories. Best purchase ever.

This box set is awesome, that’s it. That’s the review. But really, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate this box set for making it so easy for new Superman fans to be properly introduced to the character. All of Superman‘s most iconic stories are here, Kingdom Come, All-Star Superman, Superman For All Seasons, and several others all for a great price. It really is a steal and a great way to get introduced to Superman or pick up more Superman content if you’re coming off the back of the recent movie and are hungry for more.

Have not got to read this yet but the box set looks great
