I've used this case for close to a year now and it's great. I've dropped it off the back of a moving horse without noticing for a while, and it wasn't damaged at all when I found it in the arena sand later. Can't attest to the waterproofing as my phone hasn't taken a swim in a while, but it gets rained on and light water spray from hoses occasionally (hazards of working outside with livestock) and my phone has stayed sound. The charging port cover still seals well, even after all this time; the volume on/off and adjustment buttons all still work fine, as does the power button.I'm actually ordering another one soon because I've beat the heck out of this one, but I've been so impressed with its performance that I wouldn't dream of ordering another case. (For reference: I was replacing my Lifeproof case every 6 months or so because the rubberized plastic would start peeling or the charging port cover wouldn't seal anymore). I've beat this case up so much that the plastic screen cover is covered in scratches (making it hard to see the screen in the sunshine) and the plastic that covers over the cameras are fuzzy from multiple drops/scratches, so pictures are starting to suffer (not great since the iPhone X's camera was a huge selling point for me). But when I take the case off, my phone is unscathed and the camera is as crisp as ever, so definitely a testament to how well the cover works to protect the phone!

I bought this case with the intent of using it in Mexico on our vacation. I didn’t really have a lot do expectations for it, but it really came through for me. We went to Xel-Ha, a beautiful water park, and I had my phone in my pocket the whole time! I took it snorkeling, and even had it submerged the whole time I was just floating in the water. Zero issues!! Kept my phone nice and dry. The picture quality goes down slightly, but can be remedied by wiping the water off of the front off of the front coverings of the camera. The photos Included are taken from the water after being submerged for most of the float. Didn’t think to take an underwater photo for whatever reason. I’m sure they’d look great.I also am a clumsy so I drop my phone a lot, this case does a good job of protecting my phone against falls as well. Only thing I wish it would include is a lanyard to attach. It has an attachment point, so you could easily just buy one. All in all, 10/10, would buy again.

The waterproof feature is important to me because I take my iPhone to the health club pool with me 4-6 days per week and I want to feel confident that if it gets bumped off the pool chair into the pool, that my phone isn't going to get ruined. Also, the pool area is extremely humid and I was also concerned that the moisture in the air could lead to possible damage of the phone over time. After doing the 30-minute water test upon receiving the case, I feel pretty confident that my phone will be protected in the event of an accidental submersion or from moisture.The reason I gave this 4 stars and not 5 is that the film that covers the camera lens causes a strange ghosting effect when you are shooting something that is lit up (example: a birthday cake with candles or a building with a lighted sign for instance). Without the case, the iPhone lens doesn't do this. Since I don't take many pictures, this isn't a big deal for me but if you take tons of photos, it might be a concern.As far as the iPhone still being responsive behind the protective film that covers its face ..... everything on my phone works just fine. I don't find that I need to press any harder to get my phone's touchscreen to respond. The speaker works fine. I don't find that the case is muffling the sound coming out of the speakers as some other reviewers mentioned. But when you're on speakerphone and speaking into the mic, the sound becomes a little distorted on the other end if the phone is not up to your mouth. I tested this out by leaving a voice message on another phone I have.All-in-all, this is a pretty good case. It's definitely worth the money and I feel confident that the case will protect my phone from water damage and scratches to the glass just as well as (if not better than) a more expensive case (like LifeProof). I'd definitely purchase this case again.UPDATE:I dropped my phone on cement from about waist high the other day. It hit the ground pretty hard b/c the phone landed on its bottom edge. The rubberized bumpers on this case protected my phone. Neither the phones glass on the back or front of the phone was damaged and the phone is still working perfectly. And the case is still intact.

I need a durable case to protect the phone for a period of time, until I buy a new phone out, just I saw this mobile phone case on the internet.I was attracted by its color and appearance at a glance. Its color looks high-tech extremely, it is really cool. I was worried that it was not waterproof, but I first tested it with a tissue, it kept completely dry, to my surprise, I even let it stay underwater for more than an hour, waterproof is really good. I will take it with me on vacation, I believe I can use it to take many interesting pictures, I can't wait!And I like it convenient to use, its rubber texture is very good. It is easy to hold in my hand. I think I will buy another waterproof case of this band for my new phone. I will recommend it for my family. Powerful, cheap, you can't miss it.

Hoped to use this case for snorkeling, don’t believe the claims it’s waterproof.I followed the instructions to install on my iPhone XS, carefully, and tested it firstly in a pool. After a few minutes water started to seep between the screen and case, until the touch screen ceased responding.Left the pool and removed the case, and yep, it was wet.Probably fine to protect the case from harm and minor water, but not for underwater.
