Inexpensive way to train and functional
This is a review that should’ve been placed months ago!I bought 2 of these kits for a Blade 450 3D that I’ve owned for several years but just could not hover it due to TX settings and Heli tuning. Once done I installed the Blade training gear, which I promptly destroyed.So as not to pay the close to $25 for the Blade setup, I bought these shown here.While they’re not as resilient as the Blade brand, for the price, buying a couple of these kits makes it worth it!They install pretty easily. And they do hold up for as “cheap” as they appear.I did manage to break the center section, not the rods, by slamming into the ground skids down... I’ve never hurt the 450, but a bird this size is brutal on training gear!These are worth their price many times over to me.Happy Flying!

The gear is too heavy for a micro helicopter, ...
The gear is too heavy for a micro helicopter, and too flimsy for a Blade 230. This gear also magnifies any vibrations in the heli, magnifying control problems. Also, the mounting system is somewhat crude.

IT Works well for what it was intended for just don't get to rough with it!
