I wished I had bought this cd earlier the talent that is missed by this artist transcends time still making me feel she is ready to release another album. Those were the days, loose rap , more than a woman why can't we have songs like these any more. Miss u aaliyah 💓 💛 😔.

I just listened to this album in its full length this past Saturday, October 16th, for the very first time in 20 years and it still outshined all of the other albums I had purchased this year. Love this woman. If they ever invented the time machine, the very first thing I would do is go back to August 2001 and prevent this great woman from an untimely death at the age of 22. Aaliyah had so much more to offer, and she was on the verge of blending sounds and music styles in an unprecedented way. Hearing captivatingly original songs such as U Got Nerve, Those Were The Days, It's Whatever, Extra Smooth, I Can Be, and What If, makes me cringe at the absence of this remarkable person. I'm sure one day they'll create hyperrealistic humanoids that look and act exactly like Aaliyah, but we'll never have the original.

This album has the 1st song I’ve ever heard by Aaliyah, ‘Try Again.’ I heard it back in 2001 without knowing who the artist was and have been trying to get her entire (or most of) discography ever since. The songs are all amazing and I was not disappointed at all. I listen to it at least once a week. The songs and her voice are amazing together.♥️

Aaliyah was a very underrated superstar that was just coming out of her shell when she unexpectedly passed away so young. This album would have been just the start to a HUMONGOUS career! I love every one of her albums but this one was definitely all hers (No one else could take credit -R KELLY! Douchebag!) and it’s so sad that we couldn’t see what else she would’ve brought to the world of music bc this album is AMAZING!! RIP ANGEL!!

...this is your FIRST Aaliyah CD would I recommend buying because then you're in for an R&B with pop elemental treat. I’m giving it 5 stars for the simple fact that it’s Aaliyah and I haven’t owed this CD since I was a child/teen. I was a bit disappointed at the fact that it arrived with a small crack on the side and bottom. Makes no sense how many ppl have said this and how true it is. Still happy with my purchase, nonetheless.

I love that after 20 long years we are celebrating her music again… the CD is awesome the only thing I didn’t like is how it was handled in delivery I have a small crack on the back of the case ( yes it bothers me for some reason ) and my package was a little bit open as well but I’m still happy with it I guess

Bought as replacement because I have worn the last CD out. Every track is fab. Aaliyah songs sound as great now as they were at the time. Amazing voice, amazing talent, the Queen 👑

I never really used to be into Aaliyah but have to say that this album is great,everything about her song's and her vocal abillity is effortless.

En serio, este álbum es genial. Cada canción es un fuego. Escúchalo con unos auriculares y si todavía no te gusta, vuelve a escucharlo. La verdad que no sé si considerarlo el mejor álbum de Aaliyah, por un margen considerable. Todas las canciones destacan. Demasiado bueno. Un disco perfecto de diez. Por lo demás, decir que el envío sin duda ha sido espectacular por parte de Amazon y el CD llegó rápido y en perfecto estado.
