New packaging for the small breed dry food now says, "cooked in the usa" before, always said, "sourced in the usa" please help? big difference.

I had to ask the company but here's their answer...Our food is made here in the USA. Halo selects every ingredient based on its premium quality and nutritional value. Halo meat, poultry, and fish proteins are sourced from the US, Canada, or New Zealand from MSC and/or GAP-certified sources. Our Vegetables, Grains, Legumes, & Fruits are non-GMO and sourced from the United States, Canada, South America, or Europe from verified, responsible suppliers. This statement includes all our Halo Holistic wet and dry products, our Freeze-Dried Raw food, all Treats & Chews, Dental Chews, and Halo Elevate dry food. Our Halo Elevate wet products are made in Thailand and do state as such on their packaging. Our partner in Thailand is SQF-certified. SQF is an independent organization that sets global standards for food manufacturing companies so you can be confident that a food is being held to the same high standard no matter where they are made. To meet SQF requirements, third-party auditors conduct multi-day on-site inspections to validate everything from training procedures through auditing production itself. Our Elevate dry food manufacturer in the US also holds the same SQF certification. What this means in simple terms is that when an SQF inspector shows up in Thailand or Minnesota, they are assessing each plant using the same checklist. How do you open the bag?

There is a place on the side of the bag that you tear apart, but sometimes I use the scissors. Then you can also close it back up by a place on each side of the bag that lock together.

I have a 2 year old shi-poo that is one picky eater. she will only eat merck puppy food. how does this compare.

My 2 year old shih tzu is also really picky. Right now she’s only eating it if I mix real chicken and broth in with it. I’m happy with the quality of the food, but she’s had two bags of and not eating without the chicken broth. Probably will have to find another brand or flavor.
