Great sub, absolutely worth it for the price.
Let me start by saying that I purchased this subwoofer for full price of almost $50. I am using it with a 600w amp, and I am running it on the "dynamic" prebuilt EQ. And I have to turn the power and the bass boost of the amp down to 75% in order to feel comfortable. This woofer is great, and for the current price of $26 I'm tempted to buy another just to have it. Using the "bass boost" setting in my cheap stereo can cause all mirrors to shake in time to da beat.I've used it with two amps: a decade-old 600w and a newer 400w. Both give great, full sound, and the 600w was too much at max settings so I turned it down. There was a lengthy break-in period for this woofer. I thought I had a lemon for several weeks because although there was certainly movement of the membrane and low undertones, the Kickers in my doors were producing louder sound. However, after a little bit more than two weeks the bass suddenly improved massively. However, I only drive about half an hour every day, so for some people the break-in period will be much shorter. In summary, if you have a solid sub box and an amp that can output up to 400w, this subwoofer is ideal, especially for the cost. I've only had mine for three months, and there is a definite breaking-in period, but after it broke itself in it's exceptional.

Good Woofer for the money
First this is a Woofer not a SUB-Woofer, if you know what to expect it works great. this is not a Super deep everyone hears it for 3 miles bass speaker, but that being said the sound is good. if you are throwing less than 400 Watts to it , you will probably like it a lot, if you want more power, I suggest something different.

This little guy hits hard!
I installed it with a boss touch screen radio, rockville 1000 watt amp and it pushes this guy well. Its a BOOMY speaker, inwhich i like. I prefer to get the kick from my smaller subs, and I like the trunk to be boomy. This setup was perfect for me. I just hope this speaker lasts. it hits just as hard as the two 12 inch sub set up in my other vehicle. Amazing!

driven by a $46 desert eagle 900w 4 channel amp that also runs 2 6x9's (all Amazon) - And I'm very happy with it
It is not a competition break all the glass single 10" sub (if there is such a thing) - It's a $15 subwoofer in a $40 Bbox ported box, driven by a $46 desert eagle 900w 4 channel amp that also runs 2 6x9's (all Amazon) - And I'm very happy with it, people ask me to pop the trunk in my 69 caprice to see what's in there and it's pretty shocking to them how much GOOD sound is coming from a little cheap setup. If you like music and want a nice hit a bass that you will want to turn down on a long road trip, this setup is wonderful and CHEAP!. 2 of them on a better amp would likely be very impressive, I don't feel like this amp pushes it as hard as this little hero will go.

You get what you pay for-
This looked like a great value and what seemed like good ratings, but after 2 months of use, the coil melted and speaker was a total failure. Specs noted it can handle 400RMS and 800PEAK. I had this sub mated to a Kenwood KAC729s with 300RMS and 600PEAK. Obviously not able to withstand regular use with matched power. This speaker was in a ported box with 1.07cubic feet internal. I commute 2hrs a day and used this speaker everyday while driving.Major let down, but as my title says- You get what you pay for. The least expensive woofer I guess isn’t meant to last.

Plenty of thump with reasonable power!
Matched this with a Boss 1100 Watt riot amp (825 Watts @4ohms) in a small Bandpass box. In a RAV4 it had plenty of thump!! Just don't overdrive it. No reason to turn amp up past 75%. This is not a high end sub. But if you just want a little more bass on a small budget it is well worth it!!12/15/16 update... Still Thumping!! Was installed in Aug in NC many 90+ degree days to now mornings in the 20s. Well worth the money. Use proper Gauge wire and don't overdrive and distort!!Smoked original Pyle sub that was in the box, but the Box is solid. Just replace the wiring with 12 or 14 Ga speaker wire.
