Organic soy
After reading other reviews, I was sceptical of the package. Decided to buy it anyway and received the soy in a very sturdy package, just thought I better say something for the sake of the company. All great. Don't know about the flavour because I've just gotten it, but it looks like all other brands.

My vegan family liked it
I made a lasagne and it had a peculiar texture, I used a vegan white sauce and vegan cheese. It tasted too sweet for my taste, won't be buying again.

So much, but so good
Went on a 3 week hiking trip and this where perfect for my resupplies - really boosts the delicious but repetitive meal of 2 min noodles. You get a lot of TVP in the sack 2kg goes a really long way so luckily I like it at home as well!

I’m really happy with this product: my son is Vegan and I’m a wannabe vegan- I have to cook for several family members so large quantities and this 3k bag has lasted us a long time x

Chunks not mince
First off I'd like to address the complaint that some reviewers have had about a lot of powdered product in the bag. As you can see from my 2 photos, there is a little powder on one side, but none on the other. So this hasn't been an issue for me, in fact, of the soya mince I've bought before, this is the least amount of powder that was in the bag. But that is due to a wider problem...The main issue I have is that this is sold as 'Soya mince', a claim which I categorically refute. This product has pieces almost the size of popcorn, which is a country mile away from the texture of mince. Now if you're going to use this product in a recipe where it sits in a copious amount of liquid for a considerable amount of time, giving ample time for the largest bits to rehydrate, like say a chilli, then perhaps it would work. Though I would still contest that the texture would not approximate 'mince'.If, however, you were using it for burger/meatball type recipes, where the bits need to be small enough to hydrate evenly with a controlled amount of liquid so it can be formed into shapes that will hold together, then you're out of luck. The larger pieces won't absorb enough liquid all the way through, leaving solid bits and the resulting mix will be too wet to hold together - even after sitting for 30 minutes plus the addition of extra binding agents. As far as the quality and delivery, that's all good, but the fact that the product is not as described, does not work as other similar brands do where a *mince texture* is required, I can not recommend this product.
