This adaptor took a long time to ship and, ultimately, does NOT work with the Pixel 2 XL. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time or money. You're much better off making a trip to your phone retailer and picking up a Google certified adaptor.

The jack works as described and quality of sound matches the one provided by Google... however the left and right are reversed forcing me to wear my headset backwards making my microphone almost ineffective :(

Updated review - worked great for 2 months then broke. A piece broke off and now it does not work. This adapter has had only minimal use. Do not waste your money.Original review - Works just like the original that came with my phone. It it a bit thicker and feels stronger.

Does not have a volume control, cuts in and out, never heard back from seller!

I received an empty package. There was absolutely nothing in my package. I don't know how to go about getting my money back because I have nothing to return. I don't understand how this could have happened but I'm not impressed that I just wasted $14.
