I've been a longtime and hardcore Nachos lover ever since going to the movie theaters in the late 1980's. I, like so many millions of other snack lovers, just ate nacho cheese sauce and thought nothing of it. Boy, was I wrong! Out of curiosity, I flipped over the back of a nacho cheese can and looked up all the ingredients on the internet. Was shocked and really disappointed to learn that there are a lot of bad chemicals and harmful cheap preservatives in your average can of nacho cheese. So, wanting to live long enough for the PlayStation 9 to come out, I gave up on nacho cheese.Just as a goof, though, I came across Daiya's Non-GMO Zesty Cheddar Style Cheese Sauce up on Amazon.com. Since it was just only 10 bucks, I took a chance on it and I love it! Poured it over some organic tortilla chips from Trader Joe's market and I put my # 87 Nacho cheese basketball jersey back on. To me, it tastes just like Nacho Cheese sauce. SO digging it!I only wish there was 4 packets in every box and that the silver cheese sauce pouches were way bigger! 3 packets, at this current size, is not enough for me! I'd also like a mild version of this cheese sauce without jalapenos! Not that this cheese sauce is super hot or anything, but I just really like controlling the amount of jalapenos that goes in my nachos. Some people pile on tons of jalapenos on their nachos like they're building a 85 story downtown skyscraper. Me? I just like a little kick, not too much. Again, this Non-GMO vegan cheese sauce has gotten me back into eating nachos again. 5 stars way high!

This is the best of their flavors. The alfredo is a little wonky but if you are dairy free and miss queso, they've got you covered... quite literally. YUM.

The flavor was there it was really good and I don't usually like daiya brand cheese (shredded and sliced). These packers are extremely tiny they are single use for sure for one or maybe 2 people. Very expensive for the amount you get. My 10 year old had a small bowl of nachos and one packet was just enough for him so they don't go far at all. This will be a rare purchase in my house due to the price for such small quantities. Again to clarify the flavor was amazing it was just too pricey

Like several other reviews, I am not a huge Daiya fan but desperately missed a true melty, cheddar, nacho cheese-like sauce. This is unmatched. I've ordered it about 10 times and felt so compelled to now write a review being that I'm obsessed. I use it in soup, pasta sauce, on potatoes, broccoli, tacos - you name it, it's so good.In FULL disclosure it has a funky taste when you eat just out of the package. Totally fine when warmed/paired with food, but don't try it cold. That's when I get a weird vegan aftertaste. :)

I love this over veggies. Makes a good dip for tortilla chips too.

I'm a huge fan of the regular cheddar version of this so I thought I'd love the zesty one, especially since I love spicy foods. Unfortunately, it smells pretty weird and didn't taste good enough for me to "waste my carbs" on eating the pasta I put it on.

Yum! We got the Zesty to make nachos and it’s so good! Tastes JUST LIKE traditional cheese dip you’d buy at the store! If you’re trying REAL HARD to find something wrong with this cheese, you might notice the smallest trace of a sweet flavor before you start chewing but that’s only if you want to not like it. My fiancé LOVES cheese, loves it. He likes stinky, strong cheese and if I lose him in the grocery store, I can usually find him in the artisan cheeses. If it passes his test (it does) you can bet, this is some pretty darn good (fake) cheese. Going to buy the Cheddar and make some Mac & cheese and see how that goes!

This cheese sauce is great! And it makes a perfect dip for chips, or to smother some nachos in. Mixes great with some salsa, warmed up on the stovetop or in the micro. Some may consider it expensive, but you will pay more for good foods, especially if you have special dietary considerations. It’s hard to find stuff that tastes like the real thing, and this could be easily mistaken for a real dairy cheese sauce, in my opinion. I buy regularly through subscribe and save to utilize the bonus discount. It’s a good way to shave a little bit off the cost.
