Papo Carnotaurus Figure, 13cm

Well, well, well. Papo has stolen me from Schleich. This little guy is smaller than expected, which is somewhat disappointing. It's not nearly as large as many of the other little guys that I've purchased from Schleich, but who knows! Maybe it's just a smaller dinosaur, but it really shouldn't be the same size as a Dimetrodon. However, he makes up for his small size by appearing truly ferocious! His pose is quite energetic, like at any time he might run off the table chasing a lizard or something. It seems a lot more vulnerable to the elements and shocks. It also seems heavier, and I'm slightly concerned that I might scratch the paint. Meanwhile, you can toss a Schleich into a dryer and it'll come out fine. I'm not saying this isn't durable, because I haven't hurt it yet, but the quality seems to be more geared towards more gentle care. The detail on his legs seem poor quality. I really expected more. However, it made it up with his eyes and face, which seems to catch my attention every time I look near it. The more I look at it, the more impressed that I am. I'm not sure what I was looking for as far as his legs went, but the rest of him is top notch. I don't fully understand how it stands. According to logic, it should topple. Nevertheless, it's not bothered by logic and goes through just fine, but only on flat surfaces that don't move. It easily falls over if put anywhere else, so I'll leave four-legged animals to that and have him stand on tables and stuff like that. PS I named him Carl. Carl the Carnotaurus.

This figure is a beautiful dinosaur! Despite being a little bit small, it has great detail and I love how the jaw opens and how the texture of the scales feel real. The horns have the appearance of age, as opposed to just white and shimmering. I love how it has the appearance of movement from all angles. I also love the paint job because it looks so realistic and life-like. I actually had a question if carnotaurus had three fingers or four fingers like the figure. I looked it up and found that it was correct so I learned something. Papo made a great carnotaurus that I will never forget.

Carnotaurus is my favorite dinosaur, and when I saw this one from Papo, I had to pick him up. I already had the Tyrannosaurus, and I love it to death; this figure is just as great, if not better. I don't know a ton about dinosaur proportions, but being an art student, I'm VERY picky about a figure's detail before I buy it. The Carnotaurus has beautiful detailed scales all across its body, and every other aesthetic detail is fantastic. The teeth are well-defined, the tiny spikes and bull horns on the head are pointed and fearsome, and the puny little arms are laughably accurate. My only complaint is that I wish the stripes were as dark as in the stock photo; they are a bit faded. That's nothing to really complain about, though. Another thing that was more surprising was his size; I thought he would be much bigger, but it's a good size as it is and scales great with my Rex. I can't recommend this Meat-Eating Bull enough. He'll fit in great with any dinosaur collection!

I love Papo! They're my new favorite place to buy great dino figures for a decent price. They're probably in the top 5 best dino figures maybe even top 3. This carnotaurus figure is fantastic. I have a Spino and Carno from Nanmu, they're much more expensive and their teeth, claws, and eyes are much more detailed and even have a shiny clear coat on them. I prefer to buy from Papo from now on, they're a perfect balance of detailed and affordable

This dinosaur figurine is a miniature marvel. Careful paint application and an interesting pose make this quite worth the asking price. Its size: 7 inches long, 4 inches high at the tail, is okay. It is bigger and bulkier than the Papo Velociraptor but smaller than the Papo Allosaurus. It is smaller than the Schleich and Carnegie figures but definitely more than makes up for it in its attention to detail. As a toy or display, this Carnotaurus doesn't disappoint.

Papo once again offers a high detail model that very much nails the visual style established by Stan Winston Studios immensely talented artists for the Jurassic park movies. Even though Carnotarus never appeared on screen, this model captures the character of the animal very well in an interesting an dynamic pose. Balance of the figure is a little shaky but, the overall quality makes up for any short comings.

I disliked that, the size of this and its smaller than any other one but its understandable and it seems to fall off a lot being stood up. I feel although it needs to be more balanced. Although I liked how its posed it adds its character for it and that what makes it so different about it. The details and the color fits perfectly. I would recommend this to anyone that is intrested in this.

I collected model figures in my teenage years and these are definatley collector quality models that even adult dinosaur enthusiast could set up and enjoy. Highly detailed paint and incredibly durable. I've been watching my 3 year old nephew bang them around all day long. I wouldn't recommend buying these if you plan on letting your kids play with them outside as they are very beautifully painted and may get damaged over time. Excellent product for the price. Figura increíblemente guapa, de verdad, para subirla a un trono y rezarle todos los días de tu vida, las escamas, la boca... los ojos... hay madre mia esos ojos... enserio, realmente épica, detallazos. La mía no vino con el mismo color que se ve aquí en amazon, pero me da igual, es otro tono más marrón-beige, no se, si lo pudieseis ver, sería como un carnotauro desértico 100%, muy contento, lo que siempre digo con estas compras por internet, nos arriesgamos a que nos llegue cualquier cosa ya que las figuras están pintadas a mano. Pero muy muy muy muy feliz con esta compra, a diferencia del velociraptor de la marca "papo" (la misma que este dino) que me llegó y parece una figura del chino de la esquina de mi calle. Dejo estos comentarios siempre con intención de orientar a nuevos compradores, así que aquí tenéis mi experiencia y espero que os ayude!! :D
