Purchased 5months past.Thought I'd use for a while before leaving a review.Decided to take a punt on this kit based on the previous review...After using around our small holding which required a lot of walking about fields and gardens the backpack set-up is an ideal solution.Arrived in a timber crate from China. (note: there is a UK import fee which you'll receive from the courier. Appx.£16)Simple to put together.Some mech' knowledge is definitely an advantage.Everything is in the crate you could possibly need.Has run pretty much faultlessly now 20+ weeks of continual use.Having purchased like kit from the big names, sthl/husq etc, over the last 20yrs, this easily keeps up with them.Build quality is say 75%...I have upgraded the harness to a more robust padded type. The one on the frame is a wee bit thin and digs into broad shoulders.The handle on the shaft was to narrow for me so I just replaced with a wider after market type.The pole saw attachment chain tightening mechanism is a tad weak. But, these are available on flea-bay for next to nothing.The strimmer/brush cutter guard didn't last three sessions of use.. Replaced with a larger after market flea-bay job.none of these quality issues didn't concern me, as the upgrades were budget freindly purchases, which still resulted in a tool of equal ability and quality to the premier tool manufacturers, yet was very easy on the wallet.The flexible shaft and solid shafts are exactly the same as the premier manufacturers kit.Keep them greased-up and lubed they will last.So for an additonal few £££'s the kit is now spot on comfortable for continual use.With goggles on and Bluetooth ear defenders inplace, this beast is a breeze to use, with no arm fatigue, at all. You will last longer than the fuel in the Honda petrol tank.So....If you want to give your wallet a rest and allow yourself to operate brush-cutter, strimmer, hedge trimmer or pole-saw all day, with ease... This is your beast to buy.

I must agree with nearly all the earlier reviews written about this product. The engine and shaft seem to be quite well made, however this is a different story for the plastic parts. Following assembly and engine maintenance, I started the item for the first time. I decided to use the strimmer head as the easiest choice for my maiden use. The engine started on about the fourth pull. However this resulted in the head exploding into pieces quickly followed by the guard. The plastic just isn't up to the task. As others have said, a quick replacement and all seems well. This has made the head far heavier which has resulted in the shaft becoming unbalanced but this is no doubt fixable. I did also receive a further bill from Fedex for £41.26 for import tax. Amazon have agreed that as there was no mention of this or mention that the item was not already in the country, they will look to the seller to refund this.

Used this machine for a week now for my garden business. Good engine. Bought this type of machine to take strain from arms when working with this type of machine and it is doing just that. Given it 4 stars because value for money although some of the bits EG strimmer guard,flimsy no chain saw pruner guard or end protectors for shafts. Instructions for building not good , you need to have some knowledge of these tools to put it together properly. Also the longevity of this tool depends on how long flexible shaft lasts.
