JAMES READCoconut Dry Oil Self Tan for the Body, Light Tone, 100ml

I am pale and interesting, and love a bit of a glow. I have tried every make under the sun, got a free sample of James Read's facial tan, which is amazing, and thought I'd try a product for the body. This is great, a light oil, which I personally mix with body lotion to get a more even coverage. It's great!

I liked this tan. It went on easily enough and was quick to dry. It came out a nice colour but it could have been slightly darker. It would make a great every day tan but I only use for nights out and like the tan on my legs to be darker. I applied two nights in a row to try and achieve a darker colour. This used up about half of bottle so for value for money I prefer other tans. This tan did not fade too well and I felt my hands went patchy.

This is a subtle tanning product which works well and easy to apply and smells pleasant. Highly recommended!

I love this self tan isn't easy to apply at first as it's clear but in time you gets easier. Doesn't feel at all sticky dries quickly ..

Bit disappointed about this. Said it didn't smell like other fake tans but it does and for the price I was expecting something amazing. 😞

I have a tanned olive skin tone and this product did not make my skin go bronze or brown! It made me go a little bit darker but with an ORANGE tone!🍊😭I tested the product on my arm before doing my whole body. This product is only for pale skin even though it claims to “suit all skin tones” :( One nice thing I can say is the smell is nice and so is the packaging

El color queda naturalY si vas con cuidado , puedes subir escalonadamente el tono. No te haces naranja y no huele mal.

I've tried almost every self tanner out there - Loving Tan, Vita Liberata, St. Tropez, Million Dollar Tan, Utan & Tone, Jergens, to name a few. Though I do love a mousse formula in the summer, I love the dry oil during the colder months since everything is more dry. My natural skin tone is very fair with pink undertones, and this tan gives me great color. I would say it is more on the warmer-golden side rather than olive. The formula is so easy to apply. I've tried it with my bare hands and with a mitt. Personally I felt like the mitt got in the way since the formula is an oil, it got too wet and hard to glide over my skin. Hands work best and as long as you run a little water over them when you're done applying, they will look good and blended. The drying time isn't bad, of course you will feel it on your skin throughout the day/night, but nothing too sticky. As for the smell, immediately after application it does smell like coconut, but after it starts to develop, I would say after around a half hour, it does start to smell like the normal "self tan" smell. The wear of this tan is beautiful. By far one of the best fading tans around since it is oil based. If you hate to wear lotion it lasts around 3-4 days strong, if you put lotion on every day and keep up, it lasts 5-6 days. I always have this tanner on hand since I do like to switch every so often and definatley would not be able to live without this tan!
