Not as good as Gladiator, but we knew it wouldn't be.

Great sequel despite the delay
I have to be honest, when I first sat down to watch this I really thought it would be some half-hearted attempt to milk the legendary movie that was Gladiator. The story is very interesting with multiple twists and turns, many of which I didn't see coming. It was enjoyable and action filled. It was quite gory but not grotesquely so and rather than just milking it from the original film was actually a well thought out sequel.

Fabulous Movie
We are very much entertained - brilliant movie, with Denzel Washington the star of the cast !

Very disappointing for Ridley Scott.
Practically a re- run of Gladiator 1 but without the charisma. Ridley Scott has dropped the ball with this one. Paul Mescal is a puny version of Russell Crowe and it is hard to maintain empathy for him . The cinematography is heavily influenced by CGI , the animals in the Colosseum are ridiculous especially the Baboon/ Dog creatures and the Emperors are gay parodies of themselves. Overall a very disappointing film - worth a look on Blu Ray perhaps but so forgettable .

Visually strong film deserving of a Blu-Ray copy
I thought this sequel was visually strong with a good story; though it falls short of the original, of course, in its own right it's an enjoyable watch.

A worthy sequel in my opinion.
It was never going to be as good as the first film and nor could it be. This second installment was very good though and if you liked the first then you will probably like this one too. Aside from some rather dodgy CGI scenes (the ships at sea, rabid baboons and the sharks) it was a good plot with decent if unspectacular acting. I expected worse to be honest.

Le son est excellent en français c'est à dire en dolby atmos . Il faut acheter la version qui provient de la Grande Bretagne pour avoir cette qualité sonore .

Livraison ponctuelle.. Film à la hauteur des attentes bien que pas véritable suite du premier Gladiator...mais super film...
