Is this walker also suitable for carpeted areas in a home?

We have a large medium-pile rug, and the walker with any weight in it will barely budge, even after adding WD-40 to the wheels. Our 9-month-old with relatively strong legs can't push it. Rolls okay on our hardwood areas, but not particularly well. The back rubber wheels are set on straight, so they do not turn, and they are on tight, so it takes some effort for even an adult to push it. (Yes, the base is unlocked.)

Can my baby use this product a lot?

The bunny toy snapped off and broke from its base. Any way to replace it? Or am i just better off trying to glue it?
