Just what I needed, but now I’m in search of the perfect mugs to fit!
Easy to install with a torx socket set (which if you own a Jeep, you need to buy!) Fits perfectly in my YJ. Yes they are plastic, but look to be pretty durable. I run topless, so I prefer this to something that will get wet & rust. Wanted to go with these instead of a console because running topless, I don’t want a console to get ruined in any unexpected rain storms… plus I worry about rust forming under a console. So… these are PERFECT! My only issue is finding a mug that fits perfectly. My 20oz Yeti sat loosely in the top section, bounced around a bit, but did ok (I turned the spout toward the window so it wouldn’t spill). A lid that slides shut would be better. This is still a much better solution than holding a drink in my lap… The large Sonic cup in the picture did fit through the bottom section, but didn’t sit all the way down in the holder. It did sit tightly in the holder which was excellent. No spills with a full drink with the lid on. The best fit of the 3. I’m in search of a mug this exact size. The last pic is a 16oz mug that I had in my cabinet made my Sweda. It fits all the way down to the bottom, but is loose. I haven’t used this while driving, but it looks like it’d work just fine. I’ll update when I find the perfect mug 😁

Partial to alloys, but the plastic DOES work
I, like almost every other reviewer, had the silly misconception that these were constructed of at least a light duty allow. To my surprise, upon their arrival I found that they were constructed of a relatively pliable plastic composite. Not a deal breaker for me, but simply a deviation from expectations. Installation was obviously exceedingly simple, even for someone like myself who's got a heavily rusted windshield frame. In my usage thus far, they've held up just fine under regular use and, given their price, I really can't complain. I'm contemplating taking one down to my local preferred CNC machine shop to have some units replicated and constructed of an alloy rather than plastic.

Lightweight plastic
We gave them a try. They do fit and would work if you don't mind them bouncing around. I didn't like it. The are plastic and although considerably less expensive than the metal ones, in this case you really do get what you pay for. I would not recommend them to a friend as they just are not as sturdy as they should be. I found another vendor who makes steel ones for a YJ and they are almost double to cost, they are also twice as solid. I can put a large mug in the metal ones, whereas a smaller size was all that fit in the plastic ones.

Holds the lattes while mowing.
I have an old Ford 8N tractor that drives me to drink. I use it to cut the grass in the back 40 with a jank old New Holland finish mower. If you’ve ever tried to keep a 75 year old tractor in a straight line after a few wobble pops in you, then you’ll know it’s important to have both hands on the wheel. That’s where this cup holder comes in to play. It mounted right to the fender and holds a “soda” perfectly. No spills, no messes, and fewer stops for “man down” incidents. I know some of you will poopoo the idea of some poor chump out in the sunshine cutting grass without air conditioning or factory cup holders, but old Henry Ford didn’t think about these tractors being in service 75 years later and their drivers needing a place to put their Busch Lattes. It’s held up for more than a year and shows no signs of backing down, and I’m not very nice to the tractor. It sits outside in the sun and rain and snow. Outstanding product.

Cheep
Cheep plastic a your mug will not fit in all the way it stays at the top dangling. For what they are selling $20 you think they are high quality not

Me funciono mejor que la consola central. Pero si llego. A poner tablero va a cambiar la ubicación, y es mejor ya que si abates el parabrisas también estos porta vaso se abate. El material es endeble, si alguien se recarga si lo rompe

For $15 you cant go wrong. Bolts right up easy on my YJ. Can fit pretty large cups. They are made of plastic even thought they look like they might be metal in the picture but no big deal at all. Definitely recommend

Arrived early and installed them the same day. Roads are rough here so my drink bounces around. If it could have been a bit stiffer for heavier yeti cup holder it would get a 5 star. I would order again. Exactly what I wanted
