Simply the best glue for PETG and PLA 3d print repairs & part assembly. Seals layers too.
Simply the best glue for PETG and PLA 3d prints. I have been printing complex models of vegetation in piece parts in PETG and PLA that must be glued together for assembly. I needed a fast holding, strong bond to get get leaves, blooms, fruits to adhere to branches that allowed me to assemble delicate parts at unsupported orientations.I tested many types of glue: Lok-tite Plastic 2 part, Epoxy putty, instant and plastic, cyanoacrylate (super glue) liquid and jell by many brands including Gorilla and Loktite, and solvents such as Testers and Tamaya model cements, and even Acrylic solvent. Cyanoacrylate jell is ok, but it dries brittle. Solvents if they work deform and have long hold times. However I found 3D Fuse really is the best glue for 3d printed parts. It dries and holds like a super glue jell, yet has a mild solvent that blends the cement into the print layers. It dries very much like clear urethane, but blends with the PLA/PETG/ABS. For instance I am able to press and hold tree leaves printed in PETG horizontally on a branch part for 15-30 seconds and initial bind is achieved enough to continue to glue the next leaf and then glue the branch on the trunk in an uninterrupted process. So it really hold small surface bond parts in unsupported orientations. The Label says it works on ABS, I have not tried 3dfuse on ABS. I found it on EBAY but now I see it is also on Amazon. The large tube holds 4 ounces and 2 months after at half used the tube is still fresh and easy to flow on parts. . Damn good stuff and priced right.

Surprisingly good stuff :-).
Didn't have an immediate use for this, but when I did WOW :-).Got clumsy and managed to break a swing arm lamp holder I had 3D printed in PLA, shattered it pretty well but not destroyed.Got out the glue and slathered it around the breaks and clamped it together and let it sit overnight, Touched up the socket for the lamp base with a drill and deburred the top and bottom and put it all back together and screwed it back to the side of the shelf unit again and installed the lamp.Truthfully, I did not expect it to hold at all. Been several days now with the usual machinations of the lamp and the holder is just fine. This stuff works! I'd tried other glues to fix PLA stuff in the past and nothing worked.Good to have handy, we'll see how well it hold up in the tube between needs.

Provides a great bond/adhesion! Used on PETG & PLA so far! Really Like!
I am very pleased with the bond strength with PETG & PLA so far. The consistency is very thin, almost like a thick water. It flows easily but starts to freeze within seconds allowing you to use as a filler or even as a bead around joints. It doesn't provide an instant bond but provides bonding power within 10 minutes. I wouldn't use if your not going to clamp or be willing to carefully hold together for periods of time as it is NOT like super glue. I think the packaging could be improved as it will flow right out of the tube uncontrollably if not careful, but the effectiveness of the bond, for me outweighs, the need to really pay attention to what you are doing. I have used this to bond PLA to PETG & PETG to PETG, and PLA to PLA. It works great for me. I will attach a picture of a Yellow PLA piece bonded to Red PETG and what the dried clear bead looks like that I added after the initial bonding.

Works on PLA
Works great for assembling a PLA model. Extremely strong bond.

A nice glue for my 3D printer
It works quickly. However dont expect it to work as well as the old banned airplaine glue.
